Lake Escape

Lake Escape is located on Brewer Lake in Orrington. From this location, you have a view of the lake and access to the water directly across the street down a hill. The ambiance of loon calls, fresh air, and the sounds of water all make for glorious sleep and relaxing memories. The water is warm and clear for summer swimming! This recently renovated private apartment is 20 min. to Bangor, 50 min. to Acadia National Park, 25 min. to Bucksport (Fort Knox), and 50 min. to Castine. The space The bright and airy loft apartment is all open concept. The large window at the back of the apartment overlooks the lake making for some great views. The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, stove, and basic cooking essentials. There are skylights which provide night time access to Maine's vast and clear starlit skies. WiFi is included. TV includes Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN streaming services. A queen sized bed and a comfortable roll away cot (available for an extra charge by booking 3 guests) provide cozy sleeping. Guest access We have a right of way to the lake. The trail down to the water is located across our driveway. It’s about 8ft wide, on the right side of the mailboxes, down the hill. If you’d like to can use the driveway to the left side of the mailboxes and follow the trail down from there. Feel free to use the kayaks located under the stairwell to the Airbnb. If you’d like to brush anything off the kayaks there are hands held brooms in the end tables around the fire pit and by the other outside furniture. Just lift the cover. You are allowed to use the hammock and wood fire pit area located next to the loft entrance. Wood for the fire pit is located in the black box next to the fire pit with matches in one of the drawers in the kitchen. If you have any questions please let us know.
