About this place Escape the city, experience nature, and enjoy the stars while sitting by a campfire reconnecting with family and friends. This private cabin offers spectacular views of fields and woodlands. Deer and elk are often grazing in the fields as well as turkey and a multitude of birds sing from dawn until dusk. The night sky is dark with clear views all while enjoying an evening fire. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, one bathroom w/shower, a kitchen and a living room with two couches and 2 recliners. This cabin can sleeps 10-12 guests. The cabin is equipped with most everything you should need. It has a fully stocked kitchen with dinnerware, pots and pans, utensils and cookware. We provide a variety of breakfast items, such as coffee, tea, muffins, hot chocolate, and even pancake mix, but you can bring whatever you like to cook. There is an electric stove, refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster, and a coffee maker. Paper products will also be provided; paper plates, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins Sheets, blankets, and towels are provided, . For indoor fun we have several board games, cards, puzzles and books, coloring books, and a TV for watching DVD movies. There is DirecTV but no WiFi, but we have very good Verizon service. The front porch has a few chairs and slider couch for relaxing outdoors and watching the wildlife. There is an outdoor campfire ring and an outdoor dining area. There are hiking trails on the property to explore. Parking is right outside the back door!! It will all be yours! The door will be unlocked by coded lock that I will provide to you on the first day of your stay. Guests have access to the entire home and 80 acre property with exception to the private garage and mechanical room. The access road to the camp takes you across a bridge and up a steep hill. Where you’ll be Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, United States State Parks... Bilger’s Rock, Parker Dam State Park, SB Elliotte State Park and Curwensville Dam. Hiking, fishing, For ATV/UTV riders: head out to the SSRT for miles and miles of trails. No riding on the property. A welcome packet will be available with information on local activities and tours such as Elk country, canoeing, hiking, and SSRT( rails of trails).
