The space This lovely home is family friendly but we do not allow any pets or smoking. Come and enjoy all of the affordable attractions our area has to offer. Wonderful memories are made here. Located 10 minutes from Old Town Museum, the Historic Kit Carson County Carousel, wonderful parks, wine tasting, swimming pools (in the summer) and free splash park. Catch a movie at our treasured Midway Theater. Great local eateries and our beautiful Eastern Colorado skies at sunrise, sunset, and starry nights. A fun, laid back experience for all, a little like Mayberry where most people will greet you with a smile and a wave. Guest access This is a single family home with a nice yard for your enjoyment. Other things to note On Saturday mornings from late June-October find our local Farmers Market that is host to all kinds of farm fresh foods. The fourth Saturday of each month Old Town hosts a dinner theater experience. Friday Matinees 2pm at the Midway Theater are free all summer long. Our Kit Carson County Fair is July 26-31, 2021 and it’s home to a PRCA rodeo, Thursday-Saturday evenings Thursday July 29 is our County events day with lots of fun events. Saturday night is always a Country Music Artist. Lots of great free entertainment in the afternoons from local talent. We have Celebration of Summer June 18-19 with an antique car show, live music, great food vendors, and much more! Located at Palmer Park. All of these great items are located in Burlington, CO just 10 minutes to the East. There are two beautiful vineyards in the area, enjoy the beauty and wine, Claremont Inn and Winery in Stratton, Colorado 10 minutes to the West. While there stop in at Handi’s and grab an ice cream. The gals there are always friendly. Take a dip in the Stratton pool and catch another fun little park while you are there too. Worden Farms is located North of Burlington and offers various activities throughout the summer. Closest grocery store is Safeway in Burlington or Stratton Supers in Stratton. Delicious steak house option is The Dish Room in Burlington, a great fine dinning experience. Enjoy breakfast at The Post, it’s our local VFW see the helicopter and read the names on our plaque. We are pretty proud of those local men and women. Take a stroll down Main Street in Burlington and you will find fun shops and eateries. Stop in at the Burlington Welcome Center, they can tell you much more about local attractions and events.
