Bear House, Nayland, Suffolk

Welcome to Bear House, perfect for a base to explore Suffolk, and the nearby town of Colchester. You are most welcome stay in the self contained guest wing of our family country home. Although we do not provide a formal breakfast, there is a purpose built kitchenette, with a kettle, fridge, toaster and microwave-combi oven. There is milk and cereals available for your stay. There is a fresh water swimming pond and tennis court available please ask for details The space Bear House is a central feature of the beautiful village of Nayland, once very significant in the wool trade and considered as one of the very best villages in East Anglia. Originally a Tudor counting house you access the accommodation through your own separate entrance, and you will have the use of the upper floor of one end of the house. There are two bedrooms, a bright double bedroom, and a single bedroom with the flexibility of an additional pull out bed to sleep two people. A large bathroom with walk in shower, and your own private reception/breakfast room with built in kitchenette, where we will provide milk, bread, cereals, tea and coffee. Guest access We have plenty of secure off street parking, accessed through electric gates, and you have access to the property through a separate entrance and stairway to the property. Other things to note We make and sell meals locally. If you are arriving late or simply do not want to venture out for the evening, we have a range of fresh and frozen meals we can provide and heat up for you on arrival or during your stay.
