This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio. The space ADULTS ONLY. This space is a gem in the woods, designed to make you feel relaxed and rejuvenated like only being in the redwoods can induce. The kitchen is very well appointed, with high quality pots and pans, sharp knives, Le Creuset Dutch oven, Cuisinart food processor and a kitchenAid mixer. There are also baking dishes and a large assortment of herbs and spices. We provide organic coffee and half and half, Olive oil and an assortment of vinegar. We do live on the property with our two teenage sons and dogs. We are respectful of our guests desire for solitude, however we can't guarantee you won't hear us if we are enjoying our outdoor patio space or working in our garden. The Studio is very private, and separate from our space. There is no direct line of site from our house to the Studio. We respect our guests privacy and we appreciate ours. Guest access Our guests have access to our private forest. We have a yoga platform suspended between redwood trees. We provide our guests with a golf cart to access The Studio on a pathway through the forest. Other things to note There is one large and one small dog that live and roam free on our property. If you are not comfortable with dogs, then this property will not be a good fit for you. This cabin can only accommodate two people. If you arrive with additional guests, you will be asked to leave and forfeit the cost of the rental. Our property can not accommodate micro weddings, elopements or any other celebrations or events that require anyone but the two registered guests on the property.
