This garden level unit has a private entrance, and is only accessible to you. Yes, it's garden level - but fear not tall people! Our 6' 8" friend has tested it, and gives it the "tall man stamp of approval." In addition to tall folks, our spot is good for solo travelers, couples, and if you don't mind tight quarters - a group of up to 4. If you REALLY wanted, our storage unit could be used as a workspace, or "bedroom" - but it's definitely more of a utility area and not set up for coziness. We're family-friendly, 420-friendly, and overall just friendly folks! Our 420 / smoking policy is anything that requires a flame must be done outside. We don't want the unit to smell for our next guests, or to risk a burn to a rug or furniture. RENTAL CAR: We have a 2017 Ford Fusion Energi Hybrid available for rent through Turo. There's a picnic table, patio umbrella, and outdoor fire pit available for your enjoyment. During harvest season, help yourself to garden vegetables. Please note - our backyard has been a work in progress. We're slowly but surely getting to our final vision but don't judge us for the unfinished parts!! The washer/dryer is located in the basement storage room which we typically keep locked. Let us know if you need laundry facilities and we will make it accessible! Other things to note Our house was built in 1893, and our staircase is a bit creaky. We are not party animals, but we do need to get from point A to point B in our home, so you might hear us walking around. We offer earplugs and a white noise machine for your convenience. ACCESSIBILITY You need to navigate 7 stairs to get to the unit. The stairs are fairly shallow and there is a handrail. While the unit is not 100% accessible, we've had a few guests with mobility issues stay and reported an enjoyable experience. TURO CAR RENTAL: We have a hybrid Ford Fusion Energi available through Turo. The car is partially electric and gets great gas mileage. CATS: Owners have 3 (possibly more - cats just show up around here ...) indoor/outdoor cats. Two of the cats will scram when they see you, but the 3rd one loves the apartment. If you leave the door open, he might just take that as an invitation to stop by and say "Meow" to our guests. If you have severe cat allergies or despise cats - this might not be the place for you. *** CAT LOVE NOT GUARANTEED *** We have had a few cat lovers come through who were disappointed in the lack of cats. We're very sorry if you don't get to see anyone - they have minds of their own, and are often out and about on official cat business. Also, as much as we enjoy dogs, we are unable to accommodate guests with dogs at this time. We do not want to run the risk of our cats getting into a scuffle with your dog!
