Peaceful apartment in the center of Rotterdam with a big private garden. Perfect for couples. The apartment is located in a beautiful neighbourhood, only 6 minutes walk from Rotterdam Central Station. With the apartment comes a private garden; a secluded oasis of green in the big city. Supermarket is 2 minutes walk. The apartment comes with two cats who sometimes come in the house to say hello. This typical 1930's house is my mother's, and I hope you feel the love she put into decorating it. The space This typical Dutch historical 1930's apartment is my mother's; I grew up there. Her characteristic style and decorations have been left intact, and I hope you will enjoy the love she put into her house. This is an old home with a lot of history where actual people live. As such, it also comes with two very sweet French cats - Lise and Bobby - who live in and around the house. Mostly they are outside, but sometimes they like to meow hello (but only in French). The cats are part of your visit, but you do not need to feed them since we have an automatic feeder. Beware that if you have cat allergies this might not be the best apartment for you; we clean the house as best we can, but there will always be some cat hairs (especially if you stay for a longer period). The house is very cool in the summer, and the trees in the garden provide a lot of shade. The house is really one of a kind, with an unique atmosphere. I hope you will have a happy time there. There is a refrigerator with freezer. In the kitchen you can make use of supplies like oil and spices. If you want to stay in and watch a movie , the living room has a couch, blankets, TV and Netflix. You can freely make use of the washing machine and dryer. There are towels in the house. The hot water comes through a boiler, you will have about 10 minutes of hot water before it needs to recharge for a bit. For extra hot days there is a fan. The bed is 140 x 200.
