Our recently remodeled studio guest house of 576 ft2 offers a wrap-around secluded double patio and gas grill, giving you the option of grilling in (or head to downtown Healdsburg for some local award-winning dining, of course). Use the upper patio for coffee or wine- your choice! Staying longer in wine country just became an option! We are happy to welcome visitors for a long weekend, and in addition, due to the large size of this studio guest house, we can easily accommodate guests wishing to stay longer. In-studio washer and dryer, outdoor spaces and sunset wine patio all make this accommodation one you’ll want to linger in. One queen bed, with a fold-down couch can accommodate 3 adults. Our guest house welcomes bicyclists to our world-class Alexander Valley, with rides out the front door taking you up Pine Flat Road and The Geysers Road. Reviewed on Strava, pjammcyling, and Bestrides, if you are a serious cyclist, these are the ones to tackle. For the recreational biker, a leisurely ride around Red Winery Road or West Dry Creek Road may be just the adventure level you are looking for. Relish your bottle of wine on the private terrace under the persimmon tree, while enjoying views to the north of Black Mountain in Alexander Valley, and east to Mt. St. Helena in Napa. As a country/farm experience, if so moved, you can give treats to our friendly goats, Ivy, Maddie, Pandora, Coffee , Izzy (and their kids in Spring 2023) through the fence, check out the French Marans chickens, and relax to the sound of the flock clucking. Our property has a flourishing garden and orchard available for your sampling pleasure when the veggies and fruits are in season. The wine grapes you see behind the goat pastures are Zinfandel, and are under contract to a local winery. Might you hear coyotes at night? Yep. Sheep lowing across the street? Maybe. Ivy and goats wanting treats? Probably. Roosters early in the morning? No—the brand new French doors and windows are great at blocking noise! We have a noise machine for those sensitive to country noises, so we’ve got the bases covered. NOTES: This is a 5.5 acre, working country farmette, so please understand that there are potential noises that go along with the charming lifestyle! Due to this being a working farm, Airbnb has allowed me to be exempt, so NO pets/service animals are allowed in order to ensure everyone's safety, including your animal, my farm animals, and my large flock guardian dogs. Thanks for understanding and keeping everyone's animals safe by leaving your animal at home if you stay on my property! Enjoy breakfast at the patio table. Relish your bottle of wine on the private sunset wine terrace under the persimmon tree. Cool off in summer under the covered back patio. Private parking and entrance, with privacy fence. Our property has a flourishing garden and orchard, so pick some fruit for your granola if you like. We'd love to come say hello over the goat fence at some point during your trip. We are generally home during your stay, so text if you need anything. Alexander Valley offers world-class adult play, including wineries, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, birding, cycling and abundant natural beauty. Healdsburg is just 4 minutes away, with summer outdoor concerts (hopefully again soon) and live music most weekends at the hotels and wineries. Michelin-rated restaurants? Check! Upscale or low-key food options? Check! Just 9 minutes to downtown Healdsburg, an upscale grocery store 4 minutes away, and wineries, the Russian River, and biking are right out the door! Uber and Lyft mostly available here, but no promises, however, so plan accordingly. We comply with any pandemic orders from the County as they relate to short-term rental use, so will close down The Finca Guest House if we are told to do so. When open, all areas will continue to be cleaned with CDC & Airbnb guidelines! Wineries are mostly by appointment only, and most do not serve food. Check with each winery for their options!
