Bremer Bay oceanfront paradise - 100 acres of unparalleled privacy and breathtaking views. Walk direct to the beach or meander along endless walking trails. Orchid lovers’ paradise and rich in bird life. Or simply relax by the fireplace and go to sleep to the steady sound of the waves. The space Our beach house is located approximately 10km from the centre of Bremer Bay town and overlooks Banky Beach. You can walk to the beach in a few minutes and views from the house are some of the best on the whole peninsula. Our place is an authentic wooden beach house with one of the best views in Western Australia. It's the perfect place to relax when you need to get away from everything. The house is modest in size and is nestled into the landscape, meaning it's always comfortably sheltered from the area's often relentless winds. There are three private bedrooms with King/Queen beds but pls note beds for guests 7 & 8 are single bunks in the common dining area. This is a charming, rustic (and quirky) beach house but just to manage expectations it is rustic with the odd rattle in high winds or drips in heavy rain… but with the fire going you’ll be snug and we hope you’ll find it all part of the experience!! Whilst we try to make every effort to make your stay comfortable, please be aware the house is surrounded by unspoilt nature. On the plus side, this means you might have magical encounters with whales, dolphins, seals, kangaroos and hundreds of bird species. On the downside, keeping unwanted nature (bugs) out of the house is a constant battle we can never win in such a location. Also the entire 100 acres is unfenced. Please note the house is in a valley and there is only Telstra coverage (i.e. no other phone company mobiles will work around/in the house, and there is no landline). We have installed a Telstra repeater so there is Telstra coverage throughout the house. Starlink Wifi is also installed. Guest access You'll have walking access to one of the best beaches in the area for swimming, fishing and snorkeling. Set on 100 acres there are also plenty of walking trails on the property but that also connect further into the peninsula and crown land trails or fire breaks. The house is at the end of almost 3km of unsealed driveway. It can be accessed by 2WD, but it is a slightly undulating dirt road. You'll have a fully equipped kitchen. There are two lounge room areas each with own wood heater. One has a TV, DVDs. Other things to note The nearest shop (besides the caravan park) has most things you'll need and we’d love our guests to support local business as much as possible. But it is a small grocery store, not a supermarket… Bremer Bay Brewery has an awesome selection of beers on tap (including ginger beer) and for take away plus the pub and general store are licenced so local business can provide all your beverage needs! Our water supply is precious! We aren't connected to the mains water and totally reliant on rain water so please be mindful and respect that we need the one tank to last the year!
