The Lakeview cottage

Our cottage is the perfect place to relax with family or a few friends, and enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by beautiful scenery. It is very private and you will have the entire property and cottage to yourself. it’s the perfect peaceful hideaway. The cottage is warm and cozy with gorgeous views of cranberry lake Our place is Great for nature walks, biking, swimming and enjoying the outdoors. Also for fishing/ice fishing and snowmobiling trails are close by. The space The Lakeview is a four season cottage located on a breathtaking piece of property. It has 3 acres of waterfront, a large spacious lawn and beautiful surrounding trees. The cottage is very private with only one other cottage near by. It’s the perfect place to get away and enjoy nature in all its seasons. The Cottage is clean, spacious and modernized. The front porch is covered and has lots of comfortable seating and beautiful views. Down by the water is a fire pit for enjoying the evenings by the lake and taking in the beautiful sunsets. We supply limited firewood for the fire pit. The water front is a level gradual entry into the lake , perfect for young children, it is rock based so water shoes are best. Off to the side of the property is a small trail that leads to a point overlooking the other side of the lake, with deeper waters for swimming or fishing. There is a dock located there as well that is in the water from spring until fall for guest use. Please note - Dock has no electric connection for boats and is 12x12 in size. You can not see the dock from the cottage as it’s off the the side of the lot There is a canoe, 2 kayaks & paddle board for guest to use. WINTER ❄️ ice fishing is great in the winter months and We are located about 15 minutes from the OFSC snowmobile trail and all Local Snowmobiling trail information can be found at Rideau lakes snowmobiling website or the OFSC website. There is plenty of towels , bedding , blankets ect. Beach towels NOT provided. The kitchen is stocked with all essentials including spices, salt and pepper , oil , coffee essentials and plenty of cookware. The water is drinkable well water, bottled water is not supplied. There are 2 full beds and 2 sofas large enough for sleeping. There is one tv in the living area. Guests are welcome to use their own streaming accounts as we do have unlimited wifi. Our cottage is only 30 minutes from Kingston and 30 minutes from Gananoque. The small town of Seeley’s bay is only 10 minutes away with a drug store, gas station, small grocery stop and LCBO. We are located and hour and 30 minutes from Ottawa and 3 hours from Toronto. Guest access You will have the entire cottage and property to yourself. The basement is unfinished and remains off limits until it is done, as well as the shed in the yard.
