In the summer and spring, you'll be immersed in lush green leaves, while autumn brings a warm orange hue, and winter blankets you in serene white. Enjoy grilling on the deck overlooking a vast backyard adorned with maple trees and raised flower beds . The deck boasts a generous outdoor dining table, perfect for seating 8 to 10 guests as you relish meals made from fresh farmer's market produce, just a short 4-minute stroll away. Our recently updated kitchen is a haven for chefs, featuring top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, fridge with ice maker) and a spacious center island. With ample cabinets and counter space, meal preparation becomes a breeze. Inside, a farmhouse table that comfortably accommodates 8 to 10 guests, with leaves for extension, awaits your gatherings. The first floor also houses two bedrooms, a large bathroom with cast iron tub and a washer/dryer, and a perfect home office setup, with two desks (monitors available upon request). Downstairs, a guest suite awaits, complete with a bedroom, a full bathroom, a convenient kitchenette (mini fridge, sink, microwave), a small dining area, and a comfortable sofa. We can even provide an additional workstation if needed. Located on a main street just one block from the Stockade Historic District, you'll find yourself in a magical part of the Hudson Valley, surrounded by 17th and 18th-century Dutch buildings that house charming restaurants, cafes, and boutiques. For your morning pick-me-up, the renowned Rough Draft coffee shop is a mere 3.5-minute walk away. Additionally, a variety of dining options including Chleo, the Brickman, Le Canard Enchaine, Lola’s, Hoffman House, Kingston Bread and Bar, and Diego’s Taqueria are all within a convenient 5-7 minute stroll. You won't have to lift a finger because we provide a link to our g**gle map of all the best Kingston and Ulster county has to offer. Lastly, there we have some great exercise options both at the house and within a 5 minute walk/drive. If you need to hit the gym, we have: free weights, 2 yoga mats, and a pull up bar. Or get a pass ($10 day/$40 month) at sport of iron fitness, a 4-5 min drive. For runners, Dietz stadium has a track, which is a 5 min walk from the house. Or take a 4 min drive to Walkill Rail trail, which is usually what we do. There are tennis courts at Forsyth park, a 5 min walk (and we have 2 tennis rackets).
