Happy Camper Trailer

PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION: 30 ft spacious "off the grid" travel trailer! Bedroom has a full bed. There is a comfy futon for extra guests. This is an "off-the-grid" experience! This is currently a "dry camper." It has a propane wall heater to warm up in the winter! Amazing outdoor showers with hot water! Diamond Acres is very private and currently has only 4 sites! Skip the crowded campgrounds and enjoy the peace and quiet during your getaway to the Kern River Valley! The space Diamond Acres is a privately owned campground with majestic views of rolling hills and countless stars at night. Our camp is off-the-grid (which means no electricity). We do have fresh, running potable water. We offer a shared outdoor restroom with real flushing toilets and hot water showers. We have also built a shaded shared outdoor kitchen with a propane grill, BBQ utensils, pots and pans, sink for washing dishes, etc. This is truly a one-of-a-kind type of stay. The valley in front of the campground is also part of our property. This area is great for hiking/ biking/ ATV/ etc. While the campground feels very removed and secluded, it is only a short drive to Lake Isabella, grocery stores, gas stations, and the mighty Kern River! Guest access Detailed Directions will be provided. The property can be tricky to locate after dark, so we recommend checking in during daylight hours. 2WD accessible with parking on spacious gravel lot right next to the camper Other things to note *please note there is no electricity at our property. This is an "off-the-grid" experience! We have added a solar battery for this trailer. (please message host for details). *the trailer is cute, but also "rustic," as it is over 30 years old. *until further notice, this camper is not hooked up to water; however, we have lovely outdoor flush toilets and showers as well as an outdoor kitchen with running water and cookware. *cell reception is spotty at the camp sites, but there is a good signal at the top of the hill or at the end of the driveway :) *Diamond Acres is a very private campround, and we currently have 4 sites. There may or may not be other guests that have booked the other sites. **Outdoor showers are not completely private. If other guests are present, it's a good idea to wear a swimsuit while showering 🚿 ** If you book in the fall/ spring/ winter time, be advised that it is COLD. Please dress and pack accordingly. We have added a propane heater to this trailer, but please be prepared for chilly Temps! *** if you book in the summer, it is HOT. we are working on some creative cooling solutions, but please be prepared for toasty temps! ***our camp is remote and located in the country. Expect to see wildlife such as squirrels, field mice, rabbits, cows, and horses! You may even hear coyotes singing at night. Measures are taken to control mice, insects, and spiders, but at the end of the day, this is a camping experience in the country, so you may come across some of these during your stay.
