Harpers Ferry Hideaway - Cabin w/ Hot Tub, Pond

Welcome to the Harpers Ferry Hideaway! It’s less than 90 minutes from DC and Baltimore. Escape to nature and enjoy the peace and quiet. The property is on 2 acres with a beautiful pond stocked with fish, frogs, and turtles. Sit in the hot tub and check out the stars at night. Use the grill, fire pit, or just stroll the property. Wineries, breweries and amazing hikes are just 15 minutes away. The cabin is equipped with strong WiFi and is a perfect spot to work remotely. Come and enjoy the oasis! The space There is not a shortage of things to do in the area. Within 30 minutes, you can find over 10 different wineries and breweries. The Appalachian Trail runs straight through the area, so find some great hikes with overlooks of the Shenandoah river. Enjoy everything historic Harpers Ferry has to offer whether it is tubing, white water rafting, or grabbing a dinner downtown. Also, there is a casino less than 20 minutes away. The inside has an open plan kitchen and living area. You’ll have everything you need for cooking with supplies, an oven, microwave, and a coffee maker. The living area has a couch, chair, TV, board games, and a wood burning stove (only available during the winter time). There are two bedrooms. The first has Queen sized bed and the second a full sized bed. There is one full bathroom and walk-in shower. The cabin has heating along with AC. We have additional fans and heaters to ensure your comfort. The rooms all have curtains for the doors for privacy for each room and bathroom. The patio has a grill and multiple seating areas to sit and eat. The hot tub is available all year round. Plus, we have wood available for you to use in for the fire pits. Grab your s'more supplies and enjoy the inside and outside for optimal relaxation. Guest access Guest have private use of the entire house and yard. Other things to note The last road to the house is gravel. We will provide instructions for the best route to take. Any type of car can is acceptable, but we like to prepare people to take it slow (especially in the winter). IN CASE OF SNOW: During the winter, significant snow could restrict access in and out of the cabin. The roads are plowed, but not always promptly. 4 wheel drive is highly recommended in the event of snow, and you need to use smart judgement as to whether to cancel a trip before it begins or leave the cabin early.
