The space Velo provides a unique experience for guests by combining the hospitality of a bed and breakfast with privacy more akin to a hotel. Both of the Velo guest rooms have spacious and modern bathrooms, and all guest spaces are separate from the hosts' living areas. Velo features gourmet vegetarian/vegan breakfasts served by the founder of Eugene's popular Morning Glory Cafe. Breakfasts are always organic, and we offer gluten-free items for those with gluten sensitivities. We are always happy to cater to your dietary needs or preferences; just let us know in advance of your stay. Limited wi-fi is available in both guest rooms, and an environmentally-friendly passive cooling system means it's comfortably cool in the warmer months. Heated cork floors are delightfully warm in the cooler months. This listing is for our Tandem room, which features a very large tiled two-person shower with tandem shower heads and a private patio with 2 chaise lounge and a cafe table. Bath amenities include locally-made and cruelty-free/vegan bath products such as Sappo Hill and Sacred Earth Botanicals. The room also features a "sleep sound" machine with soothing ocean, babbling brook, wind, rain and cricket settings. Velo is a LGBT-friendly accommodation. Guest access Velo has a separate entrance for guests and a guest-only living/dining room area with patio. Friends or family renting both rooms enjoy the luxury of having the whole bed and breakfast to themselves! Other things to note Velo sits on over 7 acres of sloped forestland, and features short trails throughout the property for onsite birding, hiking or running. A friendly cow, a couple of chickens and a duck, a couple of cats a guinea pig and a small dog reside on the premises. However, B&B indoor guest areas are always 100% pet-free.
