Description
Private BR and Bath • FAST Internet • Kitchen • W/D • Walking Score 96 Spacious 1900 ft2 flat encompasses the entire top floor of a 3-unit building in the heart of NOPA. Six bay windows in the living room/dining room flood the apartment with natural light. Your private room has a SUPER comfy bed, desk/chair, walk-in closet and full-length mirror. Your private (not ensuite) bath has a tub and shower. An office setup with sit/stand desk and 27" QHD monitor is available too. The space Originally 2 separate, one-BR apartments, this 3 BR/ 2 BA flat was conjoined about 50 years ago. Today the total living space is about 1900 ft2 (180 m2), which makes it a very large flat to share with one person (me). A washing machine and dryer are in the unit for your use. For those who are looking to stay in a classic part of the city, NOPA is full of Victorian homes (like Haight-Ashbury but less touristy :) and is more of a locals scene than some areas in the city. Here you're just steps away from Haight-Ashbury, Alamo Square (famous Painted Ladies), the Fillmore, USF, UCSF Mt Zion, Pacific Heights, Hayes Valley, and Golden Gate Park. Runners, bikers, and walkers particularly love this location. A Place to GSD For those who need to Get Sh*t Done while they're traveling, I provide an ergonomic sit-stand desk and 27" Apple Cinema LED display (2560 by 1440) for you in the living room/dining room. My office is on the opposite end of the apartment so we won't hear each other working. I also have Mesh 6E WIFI , and WIFI speeds are typically 300-500 mbps throughout the flat. I've been an Airbnb Superhost since 2014 because I enjoy meeting people from all over the world, and I go out of my way to make my guests comfortable. Parking Note that most street parking in SF is free for two hours but requires a neighborhood permit for longer durations, Mon thru Fri 8a - 6p—or it’s metered. I can buy you a temporary neighborhood permit with enough notice (7-10 days). Note this is street parking—not reserved. Cost is about $12 - $15 per day. Depending on your length of stay, there's a chance to have dinner together or grab a drink and experience some of the local scene if you're interested. Just let me know. Other things to note I’m a cord‑cutter, so there’s no cable TV, but you’re welcome to add your own apps to my 75‑inch Smart TV. There’s a fantastic gym nearby at the Koret Center, part of the University of San Francisco. You can get a 15‑visit pass for about $100 (unfortunately, USF no longer offers single day passes). It has one of the best pools in the city! Finally, there are great local urban hikes I can point out to you; and runners, walkers, and bikers all love being close to the Panhandle and Golden Gate Park. Registration Details STR-0001307
