The space Cabaña de la Piedra is a rustic property located in the rural town of Xico Viejo, about 20 minutes from downtown Xico along a paved road where you can enjoy beautiful mountain views. The entire property is rented exclusively with internal parking, a cabin, large garden, outdoor fireplace, terrace with bar, grill and outdoor kitchen. The parking lot inside the property is for 3 compact cars. The cabin has 2 levels: on the ground floor is the main room with 1 queen size bed and on the upper floor is the secondary room with 2 double beds, sofa and work table, both rooms share a full bathroom that is on the ground floor. The master bedroom can be made private by a sliding door. To access the secondary room, you go up an interior staircase with comfortable and safe steps. Both rooms have a 43" LED TV screen connected to Wi-Fi so you can enjoy a movie or series. The mattresses on our beds are Luuna and the bedding is 100% premium cotton to ensure your comfort and rest. In front of the cabin under a cypress tree there are 4 comfortable armchairs for you to enjoy some reading or chatting accompanied by a glass of wine or an aromatic coffee. In the backyard we have a large garden that has an outdoor fireplace and a terrace. The Terrace is the social area of the property, it has a large bar with 5 benches, dining area with 2 wooden tables with bench, grill and outdoor kitchen equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator, filter coffee maker, French press, microwave oven, washing machine, utensils for a roast, cups, glasses, plates, wine glasses and table cutlery. The terrace has a half bathroom. We know you want to disconnect from everyday life, but on the property we have Wi-Fi so you don't lose communication, since in the rural area there is no cell phone signal. Guest access The entrance to the property is autonomous, once the reservation is confirmed, the exact location and the key to the electronic lock are sent. Other things to note Guest interaction is via instant messaging app, app chat, and/or call. On-site assistance is provided by Mr. José, a very friendly person who you can rely on to get food or firewood at very affordable prices. Once the reservation is made, your contact is shared. Near the cabin there are several restaurants where trout and typical food of the region are the specialty. Visit the Xicochimalco Museum, which houses archaeological pieces from pre-Hispanic settlements that tell the story of the region and its cultural legacy. You can also hike on an extensive private property full of pine and sweetgum trees, reports and cost upon reservation in advance.
