East Side Retreat

Welcome to East Side Retreat! This comfortable studio is in the perfect location for a visit to Alice - walking distance to town, gorgeous walking trails, shops & cafes. We are an 800m walk to town, the Todd Mall & Anzac Hill memorial; 200m to the edge of the Telegraph Station with beautiful walking trails + start/finish of Larapinta Trail; and a 600m walk to the IGA, a cafe, and Italian, Chinese and Indian restaurants. The space The space is cosy and comfortable for two people - a queen size bed, a couch, bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Tea, coffee and milk is provided so once you grab some other basic supplies, you'll have everything you need to make a simple brekky. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash is provided in the bathroom. The little couch or daybed on the patio outside your are beautiful spots to relax and enjoy the garden. Guest access The backyard is a bit of a shared space. You'll see me, my husband and our two young kids outside every now and again. You're welcome to use the BBQ outside and there's a table and chairs outdoors for you to eat at. The day bed is a great spot to read or sit and listen to the birds. We ask that you do not use the pool please. The washing machine is available to access (outdoor laundry) and the clothes line is under the trees towards the back fence. Other things to note Off-street parking: there is a parking spot off to the right hand side of our driveway towards the front of the house for you. Please do not park directly behind our car in the driveway. There is a sensor light outside the flat which you may leave on or turn off while you're staying - it is up to you. The switch is on the inside next to the main light switch. Feel free to keep the bathroom window closed at night - this will stop you from hearing the pool filter.
