Cozy fireplace with stunning views of Flatdal. There are several hiking opportunities starting right outside the door, including a five-minute walk to the tourist attraction "Utsiktspunktet Flatdal". If you want a top trip with spectacular views, Bindingsnuten is recommended, as the trail starts in the yard. Only 2.5 hours drive from Oslo. The space The firehouse has two bedrooms: a bunk bed with a double bed downstairs and a single bed upstairs, and in the other room there is a regular double bed with room for two. Full kitchen equipment and fridge, and nice dining/seating outside if you want to take advantage of it on warm, nice summer days. Feel free to use the fire pit with grate for grilling outside. We have made the beds and prepared for your arrival. Cycle one of several great trails in connection with the Nutheim Experience Road - There is a great swimming facility/beach in Flatdal city center, but there are several, larger beaches in Seljord such as Bjørgesanden and Telnessanden. Two the latter are very child-friendly with kiosk and play areas, with the possibility of borrowing wooden boats and the like. - Scide after Sjøormen Selma in Seljordsvatnet from Sjøormtårnet - Eva Bull Holtes museum in Åmotsdal Other "surrounding area" attractions (time counted by car): - Bø summerland (40 mins) - Climbing park in Bø, Høyt og Lavt (40 min.) - Vemork at Rjukan, famous place from the Tungwater Action (1 h and 20 min.) - Gaustatoppen (1 h and 20 min.) - Vest- Telemark Museum (55 min.) - Z Museum in Treungen (1 hr 20 min.)
