Enjoy a tranquil, relaxing stay in our private, handcrafted log home set amidst a 5 acre spring fed lake on 138 acres of a classified Indiana natural wildlife preserve. A meandering creek, rolling hills and trails suitable for nature walks and hikes surround the property. For the fishing enthusiast, the lake is stocked with largemouth bass and bluegill (catch and release only) Set out on the canoe, kayaks, or stand-up paddle boards, to experience this serene, natural haven. Large stone fire pit The space The cabin offers sleeping for 10… there are two bedrooms that are fully enclosed with a door. The other two spaces are loft areas… one with 4 bunk beds, the other loft area has a custom log king bed There is also a pull out sofa on the main level There is a sandy beach and floating swim platform by the cabin. A perfect spot to relax and catch some time in the sun. There are many walking and hiking trails to enjoy as well. Guest access There is a main trail that is accessible right outside the cabin back door. Just continue down the driveway past the creek and turn left and there is a trail that encircles the big field that is mowed for walking. Check out the map along the stairway to the upstairs part of the cabin. It displays a detailed map of the property and the properly lines. Please take care with your speed when entering and exiting the property. We have lovely neighbors and strive to keep the noise and dust to a minimum. Other things to note No hunting is allowed. Fishing is all catch and release to maintain a healthy fish population, bring your own fishing equipment. New 3 burner Weber gas grill, electric start, propane provided. Large stone fire pit, kerosene starter fuel and firewood provided.
