This house has so much to offer to enjoy a retreat from the hustle & bustle of day-to-day life. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath home has plenty of room to host 6 people comfortably. There are ways to enjoy the beach, bay, & islands. Just ask the host. With an open floor plan, it is very enjoyable for entertainment. The master bedroom has a King OR 2x Twin beds and 1 closet with hangers and luggage racks for guest use. Please inform us prior to your arrival which bed setup you would prefer. Secondary bedroom has a Queen bed and 1 closet with hangers and luggage racks for guest use. Living room has a pullout bed sofa (bedding items are in the trunk in hallway). Kitchen is fully stocked and there are basic single use condiments and spices available. Guests will have access to the main cottage itself along with the dock at the bay and deeded access to a private beach a block away. Areas that are off limits are: -The locked cabinets in kitchen -The locked owners closet in the secondary bedroom -The 2 exterior storage areas under the house You can message us via the ABNB messaging platform and we will respond as soon as we can. Alligator point is an untouched coastal paradise nestled at the easternmost corner of Franklin County. This sparsely populated, rural beach community encompasses eight miles of unspoiled coastline along a narrow beach peninsula. It’s like a vintage snapshot of old coastal Florida. Alligator Point boasts some of the most pristine beaches in Florida along with unsurpassed fishing and wildlife viewing. Known as simply “The Point” by locals, this coastal community is situated between the Gulf of Mexico and Alligator Harbor—an estuary known for clam harvesting. No need to stress about parking or movement through this sacred space. There is plenty of parking underneath the house, a private beach that is a block away from the home, and lots of parking in various drivable short distances or rent a bike and bike to view the state park, local marina/tiki bar or seeing the pristine beaches. The house is raised on pillars approximately 15' in the air and there are 26 steps to get up to the house level. The main entry door is on the backside of the cottage overlooking the bay. Below the house is Hammock Haven with 4 hammocks to set up and enjoy the outdoors. There is a TV input cord for iPhone, Android, USB-C to play things off of your phone/tablet. There are multi-charging cords in each bedroom (x2) and beside main TV (x1) for iPhone, Android, USB-C. You may use the existing streaming services on the TV, please use the Beach Cottage profile and do not alter or mess with accounts as we will have to remove this great feature for future guests to enjoy. This is Florida and humidity is high! There is a dehumidifier in the cottage, please keep it on at all times. There is an air purifying machine in the house. The light indicator is on, you may adjust this to your preference. This is a very happy and healthy environment with some of the best air quality you can get in a house. There is a vacuum & floor cleaner/broom/Swifter to ensure continued cleanliness during your stay in the laundry area. The thermostat is located in the hallway for guest comfort control. There is a basketball hoop/basketball x2/soccer ball/football for use to stay active. We do have 2 beach cruisers for a rental option for an additional fee, inquire with us and we will let you know the details. We do have 3 kayaks for a rental option for an additional fee, inquire with us and we will let you know the details. There is a NEMA 14-50R outlet for charging electric vehicles in the parking area under the house to the right hand side bay. The breaker is inside the house in laundry area and will be turned off when not in use.
