Wood Rose Cabin

Come rest yourself deeply in this forested and tranquil cabin at our beautifully serene Rose Light retreat center. This sweet little Cabin will support you as you rest and unwind from the busy fast pace modern world. Simple and seemingly secluded, you get the feel of a rustic camping experience tucked away in our 6 acres of forest surrounding our home. The space Wood Rose Cabin is private to you and your group Of up to 3 people and all other amenities are shared in our retreat center shared spaces. Property includes our private home as well as 2 other wooded private cabins. All bathrooms are outhouses and there is a private outdoor shower for your use. The kitchen area is a shared space with hot plate, refrigerator, microwave, cook ware, dining room table, couch with books and games for hanging out. Guest access Private cabin, shared kitchen space, outhouses, outdoor shower, grounds and gardens. Other things to note Kitchen and bathrooms are a 2-3 min. walk away from your private cabin and upstairs sleeping loft with king bed is a narrow and steep staircase. Our check in time is between 2pm-8pm to allow for our guests to be properly oriented on our land before dark. If you are coming late, please let us know so we can send you an orientation video and know that we prefer to personally meet you and show you around to support your ease and comfort. Internet is only available in communal kitchen/ lounge, not in cabins. Outhouse bathrooms are separate from private cabins and located 100 ft down the trail. Our land is centrally located between both sides of Acadia National Park, 45minutes-1 hour depending on traffic from Bar Harbor entrance and 30 minutes to Schoodic/ Winter Harbor Entrance. Small flashlights are provided in each cabin but a headlamp or light will be necessary for navigating the trail to the cabin upon arrival.
