Bell, the architect of our home, studied under Frank Lloyd Wright. Bell also designed his own lakeside home in nearby Hamilton Branch. As you arrive at our home, its appearance will remind you of Cape Cod. Because it is built on a high point of the peninsula, the views are amazing. The studio has a great room, ceiling fan and Roku TV. There is a king bed, and one bathroom (shower). Prepare your favorite meal in the well-appointed kitchen, or enjoy the beautiful view from your private deck while barbecuing your catch of the day. Study at the desk, while taking in the serene lake view, or settle into the reading nook and enjoy a great read. For your convenience, we supply all bedding, bath towels, kitchen towels, toilet paper, and paper towels. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, and dish soaps that are all septic tank safe. There is a generator. This is an all season property. Due to our remote location, snowfall may impact travel in the area including road closures. We offer a full refund during winter months for last minute weather cancelations. The housekeeping fee is $125.00. The LACC does not allow renters to bring pets. Guide dogs are allowed with proof of certification. Guest access Country Club registration information, gate access instructions and door code will be provided via your email. Keyless entry. Loft parking is just past the main house driveway on your right. When you pull into the parking area, the entrance to the Loft is to the left side of the house. Please don't park in the driveway to the main house. Guests with boats using our launch and trailer parking areas must register at the Clifford Gate, and obtain a sticker. ($125.00 per 1-7 days per CF number) Other things to note There are two recreation areas (Recreation area 1 & Recreation area 2). Rec. 1 is the larger area of the two with a playground, boat launches, dock, beach, swimming area, bocce ball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, and picnic grounds. Rec. 2 is a 3 minute walk from the Loft. It has a boat launch, beach, dock, swimming area, playground, picnic grounds, barbecues and restrooms. We provide beach chairs, beach towels, floats, ice chest and a wagon to transport all your items to the beach. Join the locals and guests at Rec. 1 for "Music Under The Stars". Live concerts in the amphitheater every Saturday evening, late June through Labor Day. Super fun, and you will see people from all age groups at the concert. There is usually live music at local restaurants throughout the year. The area offers a lovely golf course, putting green and driving range. During the winter months, the driving range becomes a sled run, and when there is a foot of snow you can cross country ski or snowshoe. 18-hole Bailey Creek golf course is less than a ten minute drive. Bailey Creek has a nice pro shop and a restaurant. Almanor West has a 9-hole golf course. Enjoy the quaint town of Chester and its fun shops and restaurants. There is also a Holiday market in Chester, and Peninsula market is just outside the LACC back gate. Whether you are looking for serene, relaxing surroundings, or a getaway full of adventure, this beautiful Lake Almanor cabin is the perfect place for you!
