South Mountain Lodge

This home is a place to escape from the daily grind. Situated on 7 acres of field, trees, and river. Designed to feel like a blast from the past with, wood floors and paneled walls and a wood burning stove in the living room. This home was hand built from top to bottom by the owner with complete dedication and love for the craft. We hope that you enjoy and love it as much as we do. *This property is priced on a per person basis, it's guests responsibility to list the correct number of guests.* The space This Lodge was hand built in 2022 by Gary Mull (the owner) using traditional methods. This is his second home on Airbnb, the first is Mill Pond Lodge on Jacob Ford River. It has a quaint rustic feel and appearance that will take you back in time. The all wood cabin sleeps 8 comfortably, with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths and an additional bathroom in an unfinished basement. The kitchen is fully stocked, bed linens and bath towels are provided. The well water does have a slight sulfur smell, guests with sensitivities should keep this in mind and may want to bring bottled water for drinking. The rural location also means limited cell service, a signal can be found while on the front porch. The house does have a landline phone.
