Our newly renovated 3-bedroom apartment in the heart of New York City is just a stone's throw away from Columbia University and the beautiful Morningside Park. This spacious and inviting space is perfect for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking to experience the vibrant energy of the city while enjoying the tranquility of this historic neighborhood. As you step inside, you'll immediately notice the spacious and open layout that defines our apartment. The comfortable living area seamlessly flows into the kitchen and dining space, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation and socializing. The abundant natural light filtering through large windows enhances the overall ambiance. Our apartment boasts a modern and open design, where the living area seamlessly connects to the kitchen and dining space, creating an ideal setting for socializing and relaxation. Kick back on the comfortable sofa, catch up on your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV, or simply enjoy the natural light streaming in through large windows. COVID-19 Commitment to Cleanliness: As we welcome you to our home, we have implemented enhanced cleaning practices to meet the health and cleanliness standards of Airbnb. We actively monitor our cleaning protocols and safety guidelines as an expression of care and commitment to our guests. • HOME LAYOUT • Single Level Apartment Bedrooms, Kitchenette, Full Bathroom, Dining Space • BEDROOM • The apartment has 3 bedrooms. Each bedroom is thoughtfully furnished to ensure a restful night's sleep. Ample closet space is available to store your belongings, and fresh linens are provided for your comfort. Bedroom 1 - Queen sized Bed (Sleeps 2 guests) Bedroom 2 - Double sized Bed (Sleeps 2 guests) Bedroom 3 - Twin sized Bunk Bed (Sleeps 2 guests) • BATHROOM • The apartment has a full bathroom and is supplied with bath essentials (shampoo, body wash), towels, toilet paper, and a hairdryer.  • SHEETS/TOWELS • The home is professionally cleaned before every stay with clean linens and towels. Fresh new sheets, linens, and towels will be provided for your stay. We will prepare based on the number of guests.  Linens (sheet sets for bed) Blankets Bath Towels Washcloths Hand Towels • KITCHEN & DINING • The apartment features a functional kitchenette with basic appliances and cookware you need to prepare delicious and simple meals during your stay. The dining area with a table for four is a great spot for sharing meals and stories. • LOCATION • The apartment is located on the 3rd floor. Please be advised that there is no elevator in the building and is only accessible via stairs. The home is centrally located to the restaurants, shops, and other popular places nearby. Morningside Heights is a vibrant and culturally rich neighborhood located in the northern part of Manhattan. Nestled between the Upper West Side and Harlem, this neighborhood is characterized by its unique blend of academic institutions, historic architecture, cultural landmarks, and a diverse community. -Columbia University - 9 min walk -A/D Express Train & B/C Local Train: Subway Station - 8 min walk -Morningside Park - 7 min walk -Pikine Restaurant - 7 min walk -New Way Food Market (Convenience store) 9 min walk • PARKING • There is limited free street parking on a first come first serve basis, but a lot of paid parking is available. The only FREE parking is street parking and depending on the time of day, street parking may be hard to find. Please note that if you park on the street you must follow street sweeping rules (which will be posted). Below are nearby paid parking spaces: iPark - Valet Garage at 314 W 120th St Stable Car Parking - Valet Garage at 279 W 117th St Stable Car Parking - Valet Garage at 301 W 115th St You will have to check with them individually about what their fees are. • SECURITY & SAFETY FEATURES • Our property is equipped with external security cameras to ensure guest safety. Rest assured, no cameras are present inside the apartment. Please also note that we have noise monitoring devices that do not record audio. Additionally, smoke alarms and fire extinguishers are provided for your safety. • OTHER AMENITIES • The apartment comes with high-speed wifi, smart TV with streaming apps, hair dryer, and in-unit washer and dryer. • ADDITIONAL NOTES ABOUT THE HOME • - Location: The apartment is located on the 3rd floor with no elevator access. - Fireplace: The fireplace in the apartment is for decorative purposes only and is non-functional. - Noise: We would like to kindly remind you that in the evening, there may be some noise originating from the neighborhood considering the central location of the home. - New York City Pests: Please be advised that it's very normal/common to see mice/rats in the streets of New York. Due to the continuing increase of the mice/rats problem in New York, (although rare to see one inside our apartment) we've also increased our efforts to help control them coming inside. Do note, we have a bi-weekly exterminator who visits the apartment, which means this could happen during your stay. - Visits and Unit Access: We will always notify in advanced should there be a need to access the unit and no one will ever enter without your approval. An exception is if there are fire or life-threatening situations in the building. • FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS • 1. Can I check-in early? • We'll have to confirm a time the night before or the morning of your arrival, pending the cleaning schedule and the status of the house. It is best to scheduled for 4PM check-in in case we're unable to. Of course, we'll do our best to make it happen, though! 2. Do you have a luggage storage? • We don't have a secure luggage storage to store your luggage. You may check Vertoe for nearby luggage storage options. 3. Do you offer daily clean? • We don't offer daily housekeeper however, if you need it, we can certainly make arrangements for an additional cost. 4. Do you replace towels and sheets? • We don't usually replace towels and sheets. We'd be glad to schedule a light clean with towels and sheets replacement for an extra fee. 5. Do you replenish supplies? • Our homes are self-catering. We are happy to provide you with the initial supplies to get you started. Once that runs out, you'll need to purchase more on your own. During your stay, you will have the exclusive use of the entire apartment, ensuring privacy and comfort. Our team, Elevate Vacation Rentals, is available to answer any questions you may have. You can also catch captivating performances at Miller Theatre and immerse yourself in thought-provoking art exhibitions. • By Car Harlem is accessible by major highways such as the Harlem River Drive, FDR Drive, and the Henry Hudson Parkway. However, parking in Harlem can be challenging and expensive, so it's recommended to use public transportation when possible. • By Train The New York City Subway system is one of the most convenient ways to get around Harlem. The A, B, C, D, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 subway lines serve various parts of Harlem. The A, B, C, and D lines run north-south along the western side of Harlem, while the 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 lines serve the eastern side. • By Bus: Harlem is well-served by MTA buses that connect various parts of the neighborhood and provide access to other parts of Manhattan and the boroughs. Bus routes like the M2, M3, M4, M10, and M11 are commonly used in Harlem. • By Taxi Hailing a yellow taxi in Harlem is relatively easy. You can simply raise your hand on the street to flag down an available taxi. Remember that taxis in New York City are metered, and you'll be charged based on time and distance traveled. • By Uber and Lyft: Ride-Sharing Apps: Uber and Lyft are widely available in Harlem and throughout New York City. You can use these apps to request a ride to your desired destination, and the driver will pick you up at your location. • Exploring on Foot Harlem is a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood with sidewalks and crosswalks. It's a great place to explore on foot, especially if you want to take in the local culture, street art, and historic landmarks. Just be aware of your surroundings and follow pedestrian signals at crosswalks for safety. HOUSE RULES Please make sure that you go through the house rules prior to booking.  • PETS: Pets (dogs/cats) are allowed for an extra pet fee of $100 per pet with a combined pet weight limit of 30lbs and up to 2 pets only. The unauthorized bringing of pets will have a penalty of $300 which will go towards the deep cleaning of the property. • CHECK-IN: Check-in time is after 4PM. Early check-in requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. If we're able to accommodate an early check-in, there's an early check-in fee of $50 starting at 10 AM. Please check the availability of early check-in prior to booking. • CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is before 11 AM. We do not allow late check-out as we schedule cleaning ahead of time. Any unauthorized late check-out will result in a charge of $50 for every 30 minutes. • SMOKING: We do not allow smoking inside the property or in outdoor spaces including the balcony, backyard, and terrace (if applicable). There is a smoking fine of $300.  • NOISE: Please observe quiet hours after 9PM. Please be mindful of the neighbors in the building. If the police are summoned due to noise complaints, this warrants a possible eviction with no refund. • DAMAGES & LOSS: We would truly appreciate it if you could treat our home like yours. You will be responsible for any damages or loss to the property which will be deducted from your security deposit. Please advise us of any damage or loss immediately upon discovery. • UNAUTHORIZED GUESTS: Please make sure to book the property for the correct number of guests. Parties, events, or any kind of gathering are prohibited. Given the COVID-19 situation, no other guests outside the reservation are allowed on the property. • PHOTOSHOOT/MUSIC VIDEOS: This property is for residential use only and not for commercial purposes without the written permission of the owner. Please contact us directly for booking of events.  • LOST AND FOUND: Please note that all shipping is at the traveler's expense. There is a minimum $25 shipping cost plus a $50 service fee. We are not liable for any lost items. Our team will do our best to locate your lost items after check-out. • MAILS & PACKAGES: We do not allow any mail deliveries or packages during your stay. • PRE-CHECK IN FORM: Guests will be required to fill out a pre check-in form which will require additional documents to validate age and card used for the reservation prior to arrival. Guests booked through Airbnb are not required to fill out the pre-check-in form. • RENTAL AGREEMENT: Guests will be required to sign a rental agreement prior to arrival. • SECURITY DEPOSIT: Reservations made through Airbnb and Hopper are not required to place a security deposit.
