Hello and welcome to your vacation home in beautiful Girdwood Alaska. This brand new home is ready to be your home base as you explore Girdwood, just 45 minutes south of Anchorage. This is the ideal location from which to explore the hiking trails, ski slopes, unique restaurants & seasonal events that Girdwood is known for. The home is tucked back on a quiet road surrounded by trees, so that you can also rest and recharge in a serene location when you are not out exploring. The space Mine Roads is just 45 minutes south of Anchorage, down the Seward Highway. Along the way you will likely see Dall Sheep, moose and a variety of birds that live and migrate along the mountains surrounding Cook inlet. You may be fortunate enough to see a bore tide moving down the Turnagain arm, and Beluga whales feeding along your drive. The mountain scenery is nothing short of spectacular both north and south of Girdwood. The open floor plan allows for a comfortable and relaxing space. All the furniture is new and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal here. The large windows and vaulted ceilings give the home an open and spacious feel with lots of natural light. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds as well as an open loft with a queen size bed. The large deck is surrounded by trees on a quiet road – perfect for relaxing. The bathroom has 2 sinks and a spacious walk in shower. Sliding doors access the deck that is surrounded by a quiet natural landscape. Guest access You will have full access to the upper unit of the home, the deck and grill. The owner lives in the separate apartment on the ground level next to the garage. Other things to note I spend a lot of time in the wilderness and at work. You will find that you often have the property all to yourself.
