Loft Cottage is a unique Tudor retreat centrally located in lovely Henley-in-Arden, very near to Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Leamington & Solihull. Surrounded by historical buildings & churches, plus a large variety of eateries, pubs, supermarkets & other essentials to cater for your every need. Designed with comfort & style in mind, the quirky period features, plush furnishings & wooden beams of this cottage provide you with a unique, yet comfortable experience upon your visit to the area. The space A quirky period property full of character, Loft Cottage has two bedrooms over two floors and sleeps up to five people. The kitchen and lounge/dining areas are ideal social spaces and a great place to eat and relax together. Designed with comfort in mind, Loft Cottage comes fully equipped with everything you need to ensure an enjoyable and restful stay. The wooden beams and quirky period features of this cottage are the epitome of Henley-in-Arden’s historic character, providing you with a unique experience upon your visit to this alluring town. Offering you everything you need to rest, relax and unwind, you will love the charm of this 17th century cottage and its location in the heart of Henley-in-Arden! Living and Dining Room The comfortable lounge area is the perfect balance of comfort and style, with room for you to dine, watch TV and relax. Feel submerged in the character of this Tudor building whilst enjoying the comforts of modern life! Netflix is provided plus you can log in to your own Amazon Prime and BBC iPlayer accounts on the Smart TV so you can continue to binge watch your favourite programmes if you desire. The dining table comfortably seats five people. Kitchen The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything to make your stay as easy as possible. There is an oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron, crockery, glasses, cutlery, pans and utensils and washing machine/dryer. Family Bathroom The first floor boasts a large bathroom which contains a shower, toilet and wash basin. Along with fluffy white towels, shampoo, conditioner, hand/body wash and moisturiser are all provided. Master Bedroom The master bedroom is located on the first floor. With period features and a high ceiling, this large room is stylishly decorated providing you with a comfortable, relaxing space for you to enjoy during your stay. Fitted with a double size bed and soft linens, along with space to hang and store your clothes. Contains an ensuite with shower, wash basin and toilet. Bedroom 2 Taking the quirky stairs up to the second floor leads to the second bedroom, which inspired the property’s name, Loft Cottage. Under the gable roof is a double bed with soft linens. Separated by a curtain from the bedroom is a dressing room and office area. Here there is space to hang and store clothes as well as a dedicated desk area, offering flexible working. There is a single sofa bed (clic-clac style) that can easily be made up as a bed with linens (upon request) for an additional adult or child. Outdoor Area Please note that there is no outdoor space at the property, however Henley’s famous natural parkland The Mount, is a two minute walk from Loft Cottage, and here you can breathe in the fresh air, exercise or simply relax and enjoy the stunning views of the town and countryside. Guest access There is free private parking allocated for ONE car at the property. Additionally, there is a public carpark next to the property, although it is short stay parking (max 4 hours) between 8am-8pm. Other things to note Please note: The property contains two internal sets of stairs, one at the entrance and one to the second bedroom. The stairs to the second bedroom are steep with low ceiling height (under the eaves), hence it may be difficult for the mobility impaired to manage. Whilst both sets of stairs have handrails, they are not ‘standard’ staircases so please see the images for more detail. Please note that there are no baby gates on the stairs. Due to the age of the cottage, there are some low door frames and low beams in the loft room. Please remember that this is a 400 year old cottage so it comes with it’s quirks - but this is part of it’s charm!
