HERON is a converted timber framed cabin with a contemporary, light filled design and large windows overlooking the forest. It features a spacious garden, covered decking and a wood fired hot tub. Enjoy direct access to on site walking and mountain biking trails. The shower wet room (no bath) is under cover in the main building, accessed via the veranda. Heron has a contemporary style with lots of windows out onto the forest. There is a fenced garden and undercover decking space with wood-fired hot-tub and hammock to enjoy the great views. Heron is on all one level. The front door enters into the lounge area with leather sofa and cuddle chair in front of the wood-burning stove. There is a TV with a Freesat box and DVD player. The dining table has a great view over the forest. Sleeping area - the bedroom is in the main room but screened with a partition wall. This divide creates an area with one double bed and an area with bunk beds - think contemporary 'posh' bunkhouse. The bathroom is a shower wet-room (no bath) - this bathroom is in the main building and under cover, but is accessed by going outside on the veranda. Heron has a private wood-fired Hot Tub for guests to enjoy! Your private hot tub is located on the raised decking. This will be cleaned and filled for your arrival but you heat this yourself using all the logs provided. Please note the logs and kindling are at an extra cost. There is basic WIFI in Heron cottage. This is not superfast broadband you may have at home but it is ok for basic internet activity. There is generally no mobile signal but you may get some on the front deck. Logs and kindling are charged at £5 per crate and £4 per tub of kindling. This is to be paid in cash at the end of your stay. There will be logs and kindling at the cottage. Please bring cash to pay for this. Guest access The whole cottage is for your sole use. There are no communal areas.
