A unique and stylish cottage, Maughold is literally 'off the beaten track'. At the end of that track you will find a fully modernised cottage with elevated, private garden views of the Mull of Galloway, Isle of Man and the charming fishing village of Port William. It's location is perfectly positioned for easy access to all sporting and leisure activities or enjoy a relaxing break away, doing as little or as much as you want. The space The property is double glazed, centrally heated and provides constant hot water. It has been freshly decorated and upgraded with new modern kitchen and bathroom. There is a breakfast bar/ laptop friendly workspace and four seat dining table. Kitchen appliances include integrated oven, washing machine/ tumble dryer, refrigerator and dishwasher. Other appliances including kettle, microwave and Tassimo coffee machine, are also provided. All cooking basics are provided including full chefs knife set, Stella kitchenware, cutlery and crockery. The living area is furnished with 2 seater sofa and armchair that readily converts into a single bed. There is a widescreen Sony TV with wi-fi connection and fire stick to access your own film streaming services. A variety of board games and books are also provided. The bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, wardrobe, bedside table, lamps and full length mirror. Bed linen, extra blankets and pillows are provided along with hair dryer and clothes iron. The en-suite is fitted with Mira direct feed shower and large LED mirror. Bath towels. shower gel and shampoo are provided. To the rear of the bedroom is your private sheltered decking area with rattan table and chairs and solar lighting. To the front of the property is your large established garden with far reaching views across the Luce Bay to Mull of Galloway lighthouse and Isle of Man. There is a seating and BBQ area with wood, charcoal and utensils. WiFi is provided should you need to keep in touch with the outside world or find out more about an area of Scotland rich in wildlife, culture and history. Guest access Outside space includes a private garden in front of the cottage with sea views, seating and fire pit/barbecue. In addition there is a small enclosed seating area to the rear. There is parking space next to the property. Other things to note House Rules This property is ideally suited to couples and singles, but there is is a single sofa bed if separate rooms/beds are required. We have endeavoured to provide guests with everything they may need to enjoy their stay at Maughold. It is a quiet and peaceful rural location and as such group parties are not allowed. Please be aware that this is a strictly non-smoking property. House trained dogs are allowed but must never be left on their own in the cottage. There is a secure garden where they are welcome to run around but must be kept on a lead outside the cottage and surrounding area. All the local beaches are dog friendly. There is a fuel station on the main road and charge point for electric cars on the harbour road in Port William.
