Gschwend vacation hut

Our vacation cottage is located directly on the hiking trail to Hirschberg in a unique secluded location about 4 km away from the village center surrounded by forests and meadows - the right place to relax. On the ground floor of the newly renovated vacation cottage is the Schopf with seating, the old mountain farmhouse (low original ceiling height in the living room and in the TV room – about 175-180 cm!), a TV room with sofa, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Electric stove with oven, wood stove with oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher incl. tabs, filter coffee maker, capsule coffee maker, kettle, cooking pots, egg cooker, dishes, glasses & cutlery (12), knife block, blender, toaster, baking utensils, dish towels, dishwashing liquid, soap, baking paper, basic spices and much more. The living area on the ground floor has a wood-burning tiled stove in the living room and a wood-heated additional stove with oven in the kitchen incl. firewood. In addition, electric underfloor heating and infrared heating with a thermostat. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, each with a double bed incl. bed linens (infrared heating with thermostat) and the bathroom with toilet (including toilet paper) and spacious shower (including bath and hand towels). The bathroom is heated with electric underfloor heating with a thermostat, as well as a wall heater for towels. The cottage also has a 50-inch smart TV with satellite reception, as well as free Wi-Fi and 2 Alexa Internet radios (Echo Dot 3.) Outside there is a seating and barbecue area (Kettle grill), deck chairs, as well as firewood for the stove. There is also plenty of storage space for your vehicle. The deck chairs, garbage station, parasol, garden chairs, barbecue and other things are housed in a separate tool shed in front of the house. Other things to note Rental in winter or in snowy conditions: Renting in winter or in snowy conditions is only possible by prior arrangement, as direct access to the cabin is usually not possible during this period. The last 600 meters must then be covered on foot. Luggage transport is possible, after consultation, with a caterpillar quad. It can generally be assumed that access by car is not possible from the beginning of December to April – of course there are exceptions, but this cannot be predicted due to the weather. The cabin can be reached on foot in about 15 - 30 minutes. Snowshoes are available free of charge if required.
