On cooler nights, switch on the fireplace electric potbelly heater and enjoy the warm glow of the flames. The dining room is furnished with rustic antiques, restored to go with the ambience of the cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with complimentary coffee and water dispenser. The oversized master bedroom has a beautiful king size bed with comfortable love seat couch (with pullout bed), and TV. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed that looks out to the front lawn and is uniquely decorated. One full bathroom with shower/tub and half bathroom. Patio/laundry room: washer and dryer, and plenty of storage space. For the beach goers, we provide beach towels, chairs, cooler, and umbrella. Covered back porch has a gas grill, table and chairs and looks out into a large private back yard. Located 15 min. drive to Carolina Beach, 20 min. to Wrightsville Beach, and 18 min. to historic downtown Wilmington. If you are bringing your boat, kayak or SUP we are just 6 min. to a public boat ramp. Resource connections to island adventures: Fishing guides, kayak excursions, surfing lessons, etc. Guest access The entire property is for our guests to enjoy. There is an extra parking area on the back property that can accommodate a boat trailer. Other things to note In addition to the king and queen beds, the pullout bed in the master bedroom and the couches in the living room (sheets provided), the home can sleep 6 people comfortably. The 1-lane road has a speed limit of 12 mph and we ask for the safety of the young children who live in the neighborhood, that you abide by this rule. Our neighborhood is a very peaceful place and we ask that you are respectful to our neighbors. The private dock is off limits to our guests and is monitored by security cameras.
