18+ only. Unique, private, &artsy for those who are looking for quiet solitude. Our rustic cabin has beautiful mosaic&stained glass through-out as well as many other unique touches! Enjoy yourself on hiking trails, a nap in the hammock, or a quick drive into town for some shopping or dining in Trinidad's quaint stores and restaurants. Do NOT use GPS! We will provide you directions. YES, we are 420 friendly in designated areas. Please read our entire listing, thank you!! The space Our cabin is RUSTIC and cozy. By rustic, we mean a cabin, on a mountain, in a wooded area. There are bugs sometimes, wildlife sometimes, and dust from the gravel road sometimes. There is also a very comfortable bed, peace and quiet (really quiet), and spectacular views for miles! Sorry, but we've had to change our pet policy to "no pets" without a non-refundable pet fee. We provide drinking water, snacks, and breakfast items (you cook) for your first evening/morning with us. We can't wait to hear what you have to say about staying here! Guest access 15 minute drive to Trinidad. The cabin is located on 36 acres in a private, gated community. Access code for you when you reach a designated spot(cell phone signal!) in the directions. 4WD is highly recommended Nov - March. It snows up here and sometimes it snows a lot. Sorry but we cannot offer refunds for weather or vehicle related issues. Other things to note Please download the Airbnb app to your phone. No babies, toddlers, tweeners, teenagers under 18. Most excellent views of Fisher's Peak. Close to fishing at Trinidad Lake. We live in a wildlife friendly environment. Excellent bird watching opportunities! Our water is on a tank (cistern) system so conservation is highly appreciated. Dogs in fenced yard on premises and we keep their barking to complete minimums because they are spoiled and almost always indoors. Hiking is of course at your own risk. Hiking is encouraged! Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Hiking on property may not always be available due to weather or wildlife activity. NO CIGARETTE SMOKING IN THE CABIN. Cigarette smoke in the cabin will incur an additional ugly $250 cleaning fee. We really don't enjoy charging that to guests. This is our "neighborhood" so please respect the 25 mph posted speed limits and stay on your own side of the road. Which ever car is on the cliffside, of the road, on a hill, ALWAYS has the right of way. Dogs must be under 30 lbs. Guests must agree to a few simple rules: leash required at all times when outside, pick up poo where ever Fido goes, and please if you leave the cabin Fifi goes along or is in a kennel. Please take home plastic recyclables. Water bottles especially. We provide drinking water, so if you bring your own individual water bottles, we ask that you take those home. Trinidad does not have a recycling center.
