A stone’s throw from Trinity College Dublin - you can't get more central than this. All of Dublin city centre is easily walkable, just minutes from some of the best pubs and restaurants the city has to offer. The space The cottage itself boasts a modern and elegant aesthetic which is clean and uncluttered - the sleek lines and neutral colour palette create a calming and welcoming ambience. The thoughtful use of space and practical design features make the cottage not only visually pleasing but also incredibly functional and comfortable. The living room features a comfortable sofa, armchair, and a decorative fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, and high-power vented extraction fan, double oven, microwave, and fridge/freezer. There is a small, heated, outdoor patio area to enjoy your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine after a long day’s sight-seeing. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and large wardrobe. The bathroom is modern and clean and features a walk-in rain shower. We also provide all the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay, including high-speed Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and fresh linens and towels. Some of the unique features of the cottage include its poured concrete floors with underfloor heating and the giant VELUX skylights. The underfloor heating system provides a consistent and even heat throughout the cottage, ensuring that you stay warm and comfortable during your stay, even on the coldest of winter nights. The concrete floors also retain heat well, making them an excellent choice for energy efficiency and sustainability. The skylights allow light to pour into the cottage while maintaining its privacy. They are remote controlled, so you can open and close the windows and blinds from the touch of a button. The cottage is located a stone’s throw from Trinity College Dublin - you don’t get more central than this. All of Dublin city centre is easily walkable: beautiful Merrion Square is just down the road as well as the Dáil (Irish Houses of Parliament) and St. Stephen’s Green. Grand Canal Dock is a few minute’s walk, and you’re steps away from the DART (Dublin’s rapid transit system) allowing you quick access to the seaside or the suburbs. Please note, the cottage is located by a train line that runs throughout the day and stops by 11pm at night. You can occasionally hear the passing trains (particularly with the windows open), as with many city centre apartments. I live in the cottage many months of the year and we have had plenty of guests who are unbothered, but if you are particularly sensitive to noise this may not be the apartment for you. We also provide a white noise machine in the cottage. The location means you’ll be in close proximity to some of the city's best amenities. You'll be just steps away from Bread 41, a renowned award-winning bakery, as well as Note, a wine bar and restaurant that's a favourite of Guardian critic Jay Rayner. In just a short 10-minute walk, you can explore South William Street, a bustling area filled with pubs, bars, and restaurants where the locals hang out on the weekend. Or, you can head to Temple Bar and the rest of the city's cultural center to experience the vibrant arts and music scene that Dublin is known for.
