On the Ecusta Trail which is NOW OPEN! Five minutes to Historic Downtown Hendersonville. Fifteen minutes to state/national forests for biking and hiking. Eight minutes to the French Broad River Paddle Trail access point. The space A Mountain Cabin without the remote location! Easy access off a main thoroughfare. (Level driveway and parking) Please read the complete description... Sits on the Ecusta Trail which has officially opened! 3 Bedrooms / 2 Bathrooms The unique living room/sunroom overlooks the back yard and has a small porch with swing. (TV in this room). Efficient kitchen with basic equipment: Drip-style coffee maker, toaster, utensils, dinnerware, mixing bowls, baking dishes, mugs, glassware, storage containers, can opener, and initial supply of paper goods. Breakfast area adjacent to kitchen with a small table and eat-up counter to the kitchen. Large dining room with seating for eight. In the lower level there is a den with large sectional sofa and TV. Primary bedroom on the main level with pocket door to combine with main bathroom into a private “suite”. Queen-sized bed and walk-in-closet. Level back yard with movable firepit and Adirondack chairs for enjoying the southern exposure. Charcoal grill in the side yard. (guests bring charcoal) The loft area (second-story) is split into two sleeping areas, both with a queen-sized bed. There is a full bathroom between the two upstairs rooms. These upstairs bedrooms were constructed with one wall being "open" to the main area (loft-style) with railings on those sides; not full walls. (See photos) A queen-sized air-mattress is available in the primary bedroom closet for an extra guest if needed. **NOTE: There are no channels or cable TV here. There IS high-speed Internet and Chromecast devices for casting your subscription shows/movies to the TVs. (Instructions in the cabin) **NOTE: There is a caretaker’s apartment adjacent to the cabin but no shared entry or interior spaces. (You may see another car on the property but there is ample parking for multiple vehicles) See floor plan layout in photos. The resident in the apartment may be seen crossing the yard to the trail from time to time. Guest access The entire house is for guests. Other things to note Repeated note: There is an apartment attached to the house. (The only common wall is in the laundry room). It has it's own entrance and driveway and it is very seldom that you will see the occupant.
