Welcome to our peaceful, pet-friendly cabin located in the rolling hills of Appalachia! You'll love the relaxed, secluded feel of being surrounded by nature while still being close enough to enjoy the amenities of town. The space Come relax in this cozy yet stylish 2BR 2Bath pine cabin in the heart of rural Southeastern Ohio! Spend your days exploring nearby Lake Snowden, Athens or Hocking Hills, then relax at night watching the sunset from the porch swing, roasting marshmallows over the fire or challenging your travel partner to a rousing foosball competition. OUTDOOR SPACE Our cabin is located on over 8 acres of woodlands with walking trails and nature's delights throughout. You can stroll along the semi-dry creek bed, take a nap in a shaded hammock, or just watch the deer and rabbits frolic in the yard. - over 8 acres of woods - walking trails throughout the property - 2 hammocks in the woods - fire pit with chairs and 2-person swing - porch swing and rocking chair on front porch - grill and picnic table on back porch - endless stars!! MAIN FLOOR BEDROOM This bedroom is conveniently located on the main floor, no stairs needed! You'll get a great night's sleep with our pillow top queen mattress, luxury linens, and black out curtains. - pillowy-soft luxury queen size bed - black out curtains - nightstands on each side of the bed - dimmable, customizable overhead light with remote control - closet with hangers and luggage rack MAIN FLOOR BATHROOM Our main bathroom has all the necessities to keep you looking and feeling fresh! - huge shower - premium bath products (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) - hair dryer - soft, absorbent towels, hand towels and wash cloths - cleaning products (but no obligation to use them! you're on vacation!) KITCHEN Our small but mighty kitchen has everything you need to whip up delicious breakfasts, snacks or quick meals for your family! The open concept kitchen/great room ensures that the master chef can still be part of the family while letting their culinary skills shine. - full size refrigerator and freezer - full size 4 burner electric stove and oven - microwave - double stainless steel sink - ample counter space - Keurig with premium K-cups - drip coffee maker with premium and local ground coffee - plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs, utensils - pots, pans, baking ware - bar seating for 3 people LIVING ROOM This great room really shines! In the daytime, light pours in through the huge windows and flows freely from the open concept kitchen. At night, grab a drink, dim all the lights and curl up on the couch for a cozy, relaxed evening. - open concept great room with lofted ceiling - comfy but stylish loveseat and wingback chairs - 50" Roku TV - designated work space with desk, chair and lots of natural light The living room does have a fire place, but it is not currently functional. Please do not light any fires in the fire place... or any other place inside the house. LOFT Our cabin's loft acts as a second bedroom, with plenty of space for 2 people to sleep. It also has a cute reading nook for those traveling bookworms! Bring your own reading material, or check out our Little Library in the basement! - 2 Twin XL beds - dresser and closet with hangers for ample clothing storage - large, comfy chair - reading chair with lantern BASEMENT Basement... lounge... game room... venue for the biggest family foosball competition in all of recorded history... you choose! Our huge basement has every thing you need for an evening of fun! - soft, super plush reclining couch and rocking, reclining loveseat - 55" Roku TV - Super Nintendo emulator with 2 controllers to revisit all the fun games from your childhood - futon - designated game room with foosball table, board games, playing cards, and the Little Library - laundry area with washer and dryer - full bathroom with shower Guest access You'll have full, private access to the entire house, yard, and 8 acres of woods with walking trails throughout. Other things to note Please treat our cabin as your own home. Be respectful of the property and wildlife. Please refrain from smoking or vaping inside. Any evidence of smoking will result in odor removal and cleaning fees. Please do not utilize the fireplace inside as it has been closed off and will not vent smoke outdoors. Any evidence of utilization of the fire place will result in extensive smoke removal fees. The cabin is in a rural setting, surrounded by woods. Although we use a thorough cleaning process before each stay, you may encounter a bug inside the space. Also, because of the rural, wooded setting, high speed internet and cell service can be weak. Many carriers will only offer one bar of cell service at our location. We do have high speed internet - enough to utilize WiFi calling, check emails, TikTok or stream Roku TV, but most likely not enough for more demanding needs like Zoom calls.
