Large 4BDR, Victorian family home in the heart of Carlton North. Modern bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen with chef quality knives, oven and pans. Perfect for families with crib, bunk beds, high chairs and pack-and-play. Fantastic location near Rathdowne Village, Princes Park and Lygon St restaurants/ cafes/pubs. Multiple public transport options and only 3.5km to the City, MCG and the Melbourne Museum. This is our family home & stocked accordingly. We always use AirBnB when traveling. The space Traditional terrace home with all the classic Victorian details including arches and ceiling roses. The ground floor contains the shared living spaces including formal sitting room, dining room, full bathroom (shower), separate laundry (washer and dryer) and kitchen / living room. The kitchen is equipped with Fisher & Paykel fridge, Miele dishwasher, 5-burner gas oven / stove and cafe-quality espresso machine. Off the main living room, there is an enclosed courtyard with decking, a 6-8 person outdoor dining table and loads of citrus trees (lemons, limes and mandarins). There is a small gas BBQ and a clothesline running along the side of the house. The upstairs is the sleeping floor with 4 bedrooms. The master includes a balcony terrace with views to the city and a Peloton bike, weights and yoga equipment for in-home work-outs. Next to the master is a baby room, complete with a crib, changing table and toys. Further down the hall, there is a large shared bathroom with a large standing bath, walk in shower and double vanity. Further down the hall are 2 additional bedrooms: a kids room with bunk beds and guest room with queen bed and study space (desk & monitor). A spare twin mattress and pack and play are available on-request. Ample street parking is available directly out front of the house (we will leave a parking pass). Guest access All parts of the house, appliances, cookware, toys, etc. are available for use; however, please note this is our family home that we live in 11 months out of the year. As such, our belongings are stored in the closets and the garage, our photos are on the walls and the items for use are our regular belongings. Other things to note We are an Australian-American family with dear friends and family scattered around the globe. As such, we spend a brave amount of time traveling with our two young kids and, almost always, staying in AirBnBs where we enjoy the facilities that make it feel like a real home away from home. We hope you love our house as much as we do and appreciate the touches of "home" you don't typically find in a serviced accommodation (i.e. real chef-quality knives and cooking equipment, toys and books for the kids and a Peloton bike). We just ask that you take care of our things and maybe give our plants a drink or two while you are there!
