A great Brisbane base! The space Hey there, welcome to your Brisbane home-away-from-home! Our upstairs spot is perfect if you enjoy a bit of social vibe with other travellers. Your room has a super comfy queen bed with large flatscreen tv, bedside lamps, blackout blinds for proper sleep-ins, a study desk, hairdryer, iron and board, plus a brand new air conditioner to keep things cool. The shared bathroom is just down the hall, easy as. You'll love the open-plan kitchen and dining area, fully stocked with coffee & tea, Airfryer, microwave, toaster, and big fridges with water dispenser. Great for chatting over a brew or whipping up a meal. Kick back in the 5-person hot tub downstairs, always at a cosy 38 degrees, dip into the 3-degree ice bath for a wellness boost, sweat in the 4-person infrared sauna, or rack up a game on the pro pool table right here in the lounge. The full commercial gym downstairs has weights, kettlebells, cardio gear, vibration plate, and massage chair, just sign the quick digital waiver to get stuck in. We've got two cheeky ginger cats, Leo and Pancake, who might pop up for a pat, and our chooks often share fresh eggs. Ultra-fast WiFi, free washer and dryer downstairs, and heaps of free street parking out front. Location is spot on, bus stop at the gate, train 5 minutes walk, Coorparoo Square with cafes, shops and cinema about 15 minutes stroll. Heaps of free street parking right out front, no worries there. Self check-in is super easy with digital code locks on all doors, we'll send your personal room code on the day you arrive. The property has a big white privacy fence with two gates. Right gate leads upstairs to the pool table lounge and rooms 1-4. Left gate goes downstairs to the gym, sauna, hot tub, ice bath, laundry and rooms 5-6. You can also walk down the right side of the house to reach the outdoor amenities and chickens. We're around onsite most of the time if you need a hand finding anything. During your stay You're not just booking a room, you're joining a cool little community. The house is home to just us, Wade and Josy. We live downstairs in our own self-contained spot, so we're around most of the time for a yarn or some proper local tips. I'm the creative one, actor, photographer, producer type, always up for a chat about Brisbane spots or whatever's on your mind. Josy keeps everything running smoothly and knows all the best hidden gems around here. If you're keen to break a sweat, come join me for the Kettlebell 300 session, it's a tough one but heaps of fun. And if coffee's your thing, you're in very good company. I basically live on the stuff and head to the local cafe most mornings, feel free to tag along. Coffee is my other water, after all. Looking forward to crossing paths! Wade & Josy Other things to note Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am so everyone gets a good rest. No smoking or vaping indoors, there's a cosy outdoor spot if needed. Amenities like the gym, hot tub, sauna, ice bath and pool table are just for booked guests, no extra visitors or parties. We're close to the train station which is ace for getting around Brisbane, but you might hear the odd train rumble by, nothing too wild though. No dedicated parking but heaps of free street spots right out front, guests always snag one easy. Gym needs the quick digital waiver for safety, and please shower before hopping in the hot tub.
