Wayside Inn (Room #15) Bernstein Suite

The Bernstein Suite has a Queen bed and a full bathroom. This suite has a separate sitting room and a small separate sunroom. This lovely suite is popular choice for a new bride & groom. It is located up the northern staircase and on the 2nd floor. The Bernstein Suite was named after former owner Leo Bernstein. Mr. Bernstein was a banker, investor, developer and philanthropist. He owned Wayside Inn from 1960 to 2008. Wayside Inn 1797 does not have an elevator. The space The rooms of the Inn are decorated in 19th-century antiques, giving the warm look of days gone by. Each bedroom is different from the next in furnishings and layout. Guest access When you are a guest at the Inn, you will be free to explore many of the rooms, including 2 parlors, dining areas, and exterior spaces. All can be used to get away, read a book, or hop onto a laptop if needed. Other things to note Front Desk / Guest Check-In Times: Winter Hours: 1pm-8pm every day. Check-In is 3:00 pm Check-Out is 11:00 am ***Early Check-in and Late Check-out are possible for an additional fee*** *Please note: The front desk is not staffed overnight. We do have a keypad door for your convenience, and safety. We are also located directly beside the police station if an emergency should ever arise. If you believe you might arrive later than the end check-in time shown, please immediately send us an email address and your estimated arrival time. We are happy to send you after-hours/self-check-in instructions and make sure your room is cozy and ready for you to arrive.
