We warmly welcome you to our house from 1912. This Black Forest house is located in the middle of Neuenbürg, the so-called “Gateway to the Northern Black Forest”, on the south side of the slope in a central location. You enter the most beautiful house in Neuenbürg, which we have lovingly modernized and tastefully furnished for you. Enjoy our central location, the exclusively furnished rooms on 230 square meters and the spacious terrace with a view of Neuenbürg Castle. The space The look at the entrance door already reveals it - you are entering a house with many Art Nouveau elements. The windows in the dining room and in the entrance area follow the “art nouveau” style. The railing of the real wooden staircase that leads you to the first floor is also inspired by the artistic movement of the “fin de siècle”. The first guest toilet is located on the ground floor, directly behind the entrance door. This has always proven to be very useful, especially when you return from a long trip and everyone wants to use the sanitary facilities as quickly as possible. Always according to Darwin “survival of the fittest”, the first person will find a remedy here. One thing in advance: There are five toilets in the house. The hallway leads you on the left into the two connected dining rooms. The dining table in the first room comes from a former school inventory. Upon closer inspection, the attentive guest will find clear evidence of the table's origins. Don't be shocked if you discover it - you, too, went to school once. In the second dining room, with the beautiful Art Nouveau windows, there is one of the two televisions with 3D function and the WLAN router in the Voglauer cupboard. Next to this dining room you will find the first bedroom en suite bathroom. There is a baby cot and a changing table available in the room. You will also find a small children's kitchen for our little guests. The kitchen with storage room and access to the garden is also on the ground floor. The first floor has the two connected living rooms with access to the terrace, where you can enjoy the wonderful view of the town of Neuenbürg, the forests and the sunset over the mountains. Here too we have provided you with a television. A bookshelf in the living room may contain one or two books that interest you. Just take a look and make yourself comfortable on the Chesterfield sofa. By the way, it should be noted that in the kitchen you will find a classic of household literature that will certainly be entertaining to read. The second bedroom is adjacent to the living room. Here you can relax in a queen-size bed, a single bed and an exceptional loft bed. There is space for 5 people here. The large bathroom with a free-standing bathtub and shower room completes this floor. On the second floor there is the third bedroom with a single bed, the fourth bedroom with a queen-size bed and the fifth bedroom with a queen-size bed and a treehouse bed for young or young-at-heart adventurers. There is also a bathroom with a shower on this floor. In the attic there is the sixth bedroom with a queen-size bed and a wonderful view. Guest access You enter the house via the front door (near the covered terrace), the kitchen (behind the house) and through the side entrance (outside entrance to the games room). You will receive a garage key for the double garage upon arrival. There is space for 1 to 2 cars in front of it. Smoking is prohibited in the house. We have set up ashtrays on the balcony and terraces. We have placed 2 bobsleighs and two wooden sledges in the basement for tobogganing fun. Other things to note There is a magnificent hot tub available for you on the terrace in the garden - here you can warm up and relax for 6 - 8 people in the firewood-heated hot tub. If the temperature is constant above zero degrees, fill the hot tub with water and light a fire under the hot tub. Look forward to the pleasant 38* wellness water. At temperatures below 0 degrees, this may only be filled immediately before heating and must be emptied again immediately after the oven has cooled down. We recommend that you bring slippers or socks! Possibly “slip socks” for children. Regardless of wind and weather, our “Grande Dame” - the Viessmann heater - to which the chimney sweep pays homage at every opportunity, ensures pleasant temperatures in the house. However, there is no underfloor heating.
