The Hilltop House

The Hilltop House is located less than a half mile from the Devil Anse trailhead and under 1 mile from downtown Matewan WV. This beautifully remodeled home (2023) is designed for riders that want more from where they stay, The Hilltop house has great privacy and beautiful views in addition to being packed with features both inside and out. This home is designed for a maximum of 6 guests, please do not book if you have more than 6 in your party without hosts prior approval. The space The Hilltop House is a single story 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home that sits up on the hillside above the level of the rest of the valley. It offers a large living room, kitchen, and dining area. We also have a great entry / flex space for all your gear. You’ll love the large covered outdoor area as well as the uncovered stone area with fire pit. This unique spot gives a great panoramic of the hills you’ll be riding. We have a large, flat gravel parking area at street level for tow vehicles and trailers. Then drive your ORV up the paved drive to the parking area on top of the hill. (No tow vehicles with trailers in the upper parking area, there isn’t adequate room to turn them around) Guest access The entire home is for our guests with the exception of the cleaning closet. Other things to note There are 2 security cameras on the property. One is post mounted and is focused on the lower gravel parking area for tow vehicles and trailers. The second is on the light pole by the house focused on the driveway and parking area for your SXS’s. Please do not attempt to pull trailers up the paved drive to the upper parking area.
