This restored Victorian stable block provides luxury accommodation whether for business, pleasure or just getting the whole family together - an ideal space for making those forever memories last a lifetime. The stunning conversion (sleeping up to 23) boasts incredible leisure facilities, from a full size squash court to a heated outdoor pool (May to September) as well as sauna, hot tub & table tennis. It's part of our collection of holiday lets, here at White Heron Properties in Herefordshire The space This old stable block was built by the owner's family in the 1870s. Historic and quirky this would have been the nerve centre of this large estate back in the 1800s and early 20th century. It has been sympathetically restored to give a wonderful large home full of character and space where a large group can come together or find their own spaces to relax. Entering through the lower courtyard there are is a stone hallway leading through to a number of sitting rooms and dining areas which are in the original stables and are centred on a large cobbled courtyard with the original 4 metre clock that still strikes away the hour (don't worry it doesn't go through the night). There are 8 bedrooms in total all of which are en-suite - most of the bedrooms have superking beds and in addition mezzanine bedrooms and beds so that small families can easily be accommodated. Floor plans are available on booking. Outside there are huge wall gardens which have been sympathetically developed with hedging and flowers beds, a croquet lawn, a small football pitch with goals and a fully heated (but fenced) swimming pool with loungers, outdoor terraces and an inbuilt barbecue. Extra facilities include a full size squash court, a table tennis table, sauna, hottub and there's even a grand piano in one of the sitting rooms. This property can sleep a total of 24 people. The basic price includes the first 16, the additional beds are available at a sum per bed per weekend (£80) or per week (£100). Guest access Our guests have full access to all the spaces in the Colloquy including the grounds, the courtyards, and all the wall gardens. There is parking for plenty of cars although if you are not taking adjacent properties you will need to be considerate of their needs. The swimming pool is available by separate access to the other properties during the morning although you may of course still use it during that time. Other things to note If you wish to take other of the White Heron Properties on site - The Lodge, Gardeners and Forge then you can accommodate a party of up to 34 people who would then be able to have full use of all the facilities with you.
