House Metka
Description
Welcome to the more than 150-year-old stone house, which was restored in 2023. The house is located in the countryside in a small settlement near Sv. Peter near Portorož and is surrounded by olive groves. It is the ideal choice for groups who love nature away from the tourist crowds. Want an additional place to stay for a second group? We listed the house Majda on the Airbnb platform. It can accommodate 2 people and is right next door. The space Host Peter and Katarina We moved to this settlement of Sv. Peter away from the city. Here we enjoy the quiet country life. We bought a number of small houses in a row here, which we completely renovated in accordance with monument protection and with a lot of love for detail. The Metka house was completed two years ago and used as a guest house. This house is equipped for 4 people and has: One bedroom on the 2nd floor with a double bed (140/200), a sofa and TV; One bedroom on the 2nd floor with two beds (90/200), and a secretary; A kitchen with dining table and a bathroom on the first floor. Outside, there is a terrace surrounded by natural stone, which invites you to relax and enjoy the culinary specialties of the region. In our area you can get these directly from the producers: olive oil, wine, karst sausages, garlic, spices and much more. We are contactable by email, phone or text. We are happy to answer any questions you may have. Languages: Slovenian, English, German Looking for additional accommodation for a second tour group? We have also listed our house Majda on the same Airbnb platform. It can accommodate 2 people, and is right next door… However, if you want to arrive with two groups, you should book in time so that both houses are available at the same time. Other things to note We are in a very small settlement near the village of Sv. Peter. A bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. The bus connections are not particularly frequent, so it is better to come to us by car, especially since our house is also an ideal starting point for visiting all the sights in and around Istria. It takes around 10 minutes to get to the coast. The border with Croatia is about 5 minutes from us. Trieste can be reached in half an hour, Ljubljana in 1 ½ hours, and Venice can be reached in 2 ½ hours. Bicycle lovers can explore the nearby hills or take the famous Parenzana cycling route (information can be found on the Internet). Sport climbers will also get their money's worth on the northern edge of the Karst (for example in Osp; you can find information on the Internet). Tourist tax is included in the price.
