Lone Butte Ranch-Juniper Ridge
Description
The Juniper Ridge Cabin was built in 1998. This log cabin is one of 3 cabins located on our working cattle ranch. We are located in the heart of the Badlands, only 14 miles south of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Unit, and 65 miles north of the TRNP South Unit. We have miles of hiking trails or riding trails if you prefer to bring your horses. This secluded cabin has it's own private hot tub, and all your modern amenities, but still has that rustic feel. The space One room log cabin with 4 beds, 600 sq ft, full kitchen, and spacious deck with private hot tub. The bathroom/shower/laundry is located in a separate building 20 feet away from the cabin. This shower house is private, climate controlled, and is only used for guests in this cabin. Cabin sits on a ridge overlooking the badlands, and is 1/8 mile away from the Cedar Post Cabin and 1/4 mile from the Horseshoe Cabin. Private horse corrals, barn, and water tank are 100 yards down the hill if you decide to bring horses. Other things to note Our cows are around from October 15 to June 1. Outside of these dates, there are usually no cows in this section as they are in their summer pastures. Calving is March 25-May 25, so please give cows their space when they have babies. Dogs should be kept away from cows at all times. We have snow plows and will keep the roads open if possible, but 4WD vehicles are recommended during the winter months if we have snow. We do have rural water that's good to drink and fast fiber optic internet. **It is important that you put the correct number of guests that will be with you during your stay, that also goes for pets as well. We do charge per person, above 2 people and we do have a pet fee. This also needs to be accurate, or you may not have the correct amount of supplies needed for your stay.
