Summer Place
Summer Place
Description
Come and enjoy the flavor of old Rabun county. This early 20th century home was once part of an apple orchard, then was owned by a couple who were noted naturalists and botanists in the area. It sits on a quiet paved road convenient to Clayton, Tiger wedding venues, vineyards, hiking, and the many lakes in the area. There is a lovely covered back porch complete with hammock. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove. There are 2 minisplit units, great cell service , no Wi-Fi. The space The back porch is high off the ground with an open handmade rhododendron railing. It is not child safe so unfortunately we can’t have young children visit until we’ve changed this. Guest access The entire house. There is a washing machine & dryer downstairs in the basement, with outside access Other things to note The house is quite close to a small country road. There is very little traffic , and there is off road parking in a freestanding carport, for 2 , maybe 3 , cars. You’ll park very close to the house with only one step to get in
