Here are some places to swim: At the natural Lübkow Lake (4 km), You can enjoy cooling off at Lake Altwigshagen (swimming platform, jetty, sandy beach, 4 km) and on the beach of the seaside resort of Ueckermünde (with many shops & attractions, 20 km). The Baltic Sea is about an hour away, depending on traffic. In Torgelow (about 25 km away), you can visit Ukranenland and the Castrum. If you're interested in the Middle Ages, this is definitely the place to be! There is also the "Heidebad Torgelow" outdoor pool here. There are cinemas in Ueckermünde and Anklam. There is a zoo in Ueckermünde. You will find an indoor swimming pool in Anklam and Greifswald. You'll find a wonderful café in Anklam – Tortenbengel.
