Owned by WANA Cabinet & Furniture (next door), the Wana House is a 2-minute drive to Shipshewana’s main strip and the MEC center. It’s a perfect place to visit w/friends and family! The space This home has two bedrooms downstairs and three bedroom upstairs. The living room, dining room & kitchen are open to each other, allowing you to enjoy each other’s company and not feel cramped. Both the upstairs and downstairs have a full bathroom. ***NOTE: This is an Amish home and so you’ll see the old gas lights in the ceilings, however, those are not available to use. PLEASE ALSO NOTE: We did install several mini-splits so its stays nice and cool in the summer heat! Electrical is run throughout, including upstairs! This house is full of charm and is a GREAT way to experience a bit of simple living. Plenty of yard space outside allows for kids to play all day long! A comfy patio set and grill make for a great time outdoor. Hear the horse & buggies pass by on the road. Enjoy some peace and quiet while sipping your morning or evening coffee on the front porch on the bench swing, surrounded by all the trees. Spend all day at the local shops and come home to the quiet & peaceful home. Need a place to stay for an event at the MEC? We are literally 2 mins down the road in the countryside, far enough away to not hear all the traffic. Guest access Guests will have the entire home minus the basement, which is not for guests to use and neither is one of the bedrooms upstairs. Other than that, make yourselves at home.
