Lakeview Lane Guest suite

A great spot to park your gear and enjoy the lake view after a long day of play! This is a recently renovated guest basement suite in a home just minutes from the beach and Nelson. Our 1 bedroom space is completely self-contained and has it's own covered parking space and private entrance. There's a large front yard for guests to use, and locally-famous hiking trails near by. We welcome well behaved pets. The space This open concept suite has low ceilings, so those over 6'2" will need to watch their heads. There is in-floor heating in the main sleeping area, plenty of room to bring gear inside to dry, and a small kitchenette (microwave, toaster, induction hotplate, coffee station, fridge). The bathroom uses a macerating pump for waste water, so only toilet paper (and "organics") can be flushed or it will damage the system. There is a Smart wall mount TV that faces the queen sized bed. The room stays pleasantly cool in the summer and does not require A/C. Guest access Parking is underneath the large deck and is dry. There are french doors into the suite to welcome in the morning sun. The front yard is for guests to enjoy, the back yard and deck are private. If you are staying here in the winter, good snow tires and AWD/4WD are highly recommended as our road is one of the last to get plowed. The neighbourhood is very safe, but I wouldn't trust the wild turkeys (just kidding, they're harmless). Other things to note This is a guest suite in a home owned by a couple with no small children. We are quiet folks, but some sound travels between the two levels. We have two kittens that are a little rambunctious in the morning, though we keep them contained throughout the night until 8am to minimize noise. We will do our very best to respect your presence and we ask that you return the favour. In the winter, our road is one of the last to get plowed. Snow tires and AWD/FWD are highly recommended.
