Huckleberry Hollow

A real glamping experience here on beautiful Cortes island. Come stay in a gorgeous canvas wall tent with private access separate from the rest of the property. 10 minute walk to Hollyhock, 15 minutes to Smelt bay, 15 minutes to 'downtown' Mansons. Take a walk through the forest and find some of the old growth cedars. Cook meals in the outdoor kitchen and have a luxurious shower in the forest grotto. The Hollow is semi off-grid while still providing creature comforts. The space Outhouse is conveniently close, so no far walks to the loo! Hot on demand propane shower in a secluded nook in the woods. The Hollow is directly off the road so you will hear (but not see) some traffic. The whole island is dealing with the onslaught of new construction and the noise it brings - still nothing in comparison to the city! Tent site is completely fenced from the rest of the property. The site is designed for adults. Please let us know beforehand if you are planning on bringing your children. Guest access Access is separate from the rest of the property. Also, if you haven't been to Cortes before - expect long waits at the ferries during the summer months. Other things to note My 2 lovely dogs may come and say hello. As much as I try to keep them fenced, I think THEY think they own the place or something. If you are deathly scared of dogs this may not be the right fit.
