Welcome to our enchanting "Haus Andreas"! If you long for a break from everyday life and want to enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility, then this is the perfect place for you. Our house is located in the midst of a picturesque natural landscape, surrounded by lush forests and rolling hills. Here you can experience true harmony with nature. At the foot of the mountain is the town of Sondershausen, so bakers and shops can be reached within 5 minutes. The space The house itself is a cozy retreat that has been furnished with a lot of love for detail. The large windows let in daylight and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. You will enjoy the comfort and amenities of a modern home while experiencing the rustic atmosphere and charm of country life. The spacious garden invites you to linger outdoors. Relax on the terrace while listening to the birds sing and breathing in the fresh air. You may also want to light a campfire under the starry sky and experience the magic of nature at night. For the adventurers among you, there are numerous opportunities for hiking, cycling and exploring: Sondershausen Castle: Visit the impressive Sondershausen Castle, which has over 1000 years of history. Explore the magnificent rooms, the castle garden and the museum. Kyffhäuser Monument: An imposing monument on the Kyffhäuserberg dedicated to Emperor Wilhelm I. Enjoy breathtaking views of the landscape from here. The driveway to the monument is especially popular with motorcyclists. Kyffhäuser Spa: Relax in the Kyffhäuser Spa and enjoy the soothing water and wellness facilities. Kelbra Dam: A beautiful dam, ideal for walking, picnicking and swimming. Barbarossa Cave: Visit the stalactite cave in the Kyffhäuser Hills and learn more about its geological history. Rudelsburg and Burg Saaleck: Discover the picturesque castles along the Saale on a hike and enjoy magnificent views. Märchenwald Bad Frankenhausen: An amusement park for the whole family, where fairy tales and stories come to life. Kyffhäuser Nature Park: Enjoy the diverse nature of the nature park, hike on the numerous trails and explore the scenic beauty. Allstedt Castle: Visit the charming castle with its interesting history and beautiful gardens. Walkenried Abbey: A medieval monastery that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a glimpse into life in the Middle Ages. Guest access The entire property is accessible to the guests. The only exception to this is the outbuilding that serves as a workshop and garage. Other things to note Cars and motorcycles can be parked directly on the property free of charge. The driveway to the house is not a paved road. For sports cars and lowered vehicles, it is possible to park for free at the foot of the mountain. IMPORTANT! Since we have already had one or two guests from the city, I would like to point out a few important points. This is a secluded house in nature, it can happen that a fly or spider gets into the house with open windows. The house has electric hot water treatment with hot water for a good 30 minutes of hot showers. After that, the heating takes about 30 minutes again until the next guest can take a long hot shower. The house can be heated via a gas stove on the ground floor or alternatively via a fireplace. Sufficient gas is provided. If the gas runs out, replacement bottles can be found on the property. However, you should have the manual skill to open a gas tap and, if necessary, exchange an empty bottle for a new one. However, I am also happy to help via phone or message :) No wood can be provided for fireplace or campfire. Wood must therefore be brought along or can be purchased at the nearby hardware store (5 min by car).
