Mom & Pups Brewster Guest Suite

Our Guest Suite is a small, private room with its own bathroom and entrance, connected to the back of the main house. The property is built into a steep hillside backing up to uncultivated forest land. Be alert to a variety of wildlife. They rightfully live here too. : ) Property is centrally located in the heart of the Hudson Valley; the juncture of 684, 84, and Rt. 22. The Empire State trail is across Route 6, and minutes’ drive to Danbury / Ridgefield, CT. The space Suite has 1 Full bed, with a 3-inch memory foam topper and the grey ottoman converts to a twin bed. Extra sheets, blanket, pillows, and pillowcases are found in the Suite’s closet. The Suite has a coffee maker, coffee, electric kettle, toaster, and filtered water pitcher in the mini-fridge. The kitchenette has cups, water glasses, wine glasses, bowls, plates, utensils, and a microwave. **Silver cup inside the coffee maker is a reusable filter. Suite’s bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, and first aid kit. Closet has hangers, ironing board, iron, foldable dinner trays, and folding chairs. There are games, puzzles, novels, and a Roku stick on the TV: HBO, Paramount+, and Peacock, included. The space is perfectly cozy for 1-2 adults and we are pet friendly. Every need has been thoughtfully anticipated and provided. Host is always available if you need anything. : ) Guest access Guest private entrance is at the back of the house, steps from the car landing at the top of the steep driveway. Please pull all the way up to allow access to garbage cans that go out every Tuesday. **Upper driveway is a challenge for some vehicles. The lower is easier to maneuver. Guests are permitted to park in either upper or lower, though the steep driveway is closer to the guest entrance. Keypad on Suite door is programmed to last four digits of the phone number on your Airbnb account. Cyclists can feel confident parking bikes immediately outside the Suite door. If you need a ride from the MetroNorth station in Brewster, let me know your time of arrival. There are also taxis and Ubers. During your stay The pups and I live in the main house. When my daughter is home from grad school, she is also here and has her own room. Contact me immediately if you need anything. I am early to bed, early to rise with a long commute. Home every night and insist guests ask me for anything they need. Other things to note **SEPTIC system, not city sewer. Sanitary products of any kind CANNOT be flushed; tampons, baby wipes, "flushable" wipes, paper towels ALL disposed in the garbage. Extra garbage bags stored under bathroom sink.
