Sare 04 - Villa with Panorama Rice Field View

Forget all your worries in this peaceful place. the concept of a villa with beautiful nature and stunning views, plus architecture designed with a rustic feel and decorations that reflect local wisdom. We have 6 villa in the area, this villa has surrounded by 10ha rice field view. You can feel the spacious of greenery rice field, see the farmer doing their work, see some village animal if you're lucky. The space This bright and cozy house offers a beautiful panorama view over rice fields. Located at the edge of a suburban village it is the perfect spot to relax in tropical nature and to explore the village life. Although in the countryside, it's located only 15 min away from Jogja´s city center. Built of washed bricks, the house offers one cool and spacious room that is furnished with a wooden bed (180 x 200) and suits well to individuals and couples. Thanks to it's panorama windows, the room is bright and provides a wonderful view over the front yard garden and the rice fields behind. The house is surrounded by tropical nature. Birds chirp in the morning, a chill breeze blows all day, geckos crawl around and at night frogs are performing their concert in the fields. Witness all this from a set of restored traditional chairs on the wooden terrace that invite to sit, relax and enjoy watching the tranquil life in the rice fields. Attached to the house there is an semi-open-air bathroom that is beautifully designed using natural materials. The toilet and sink area is covered with a transparent roof that makes sure that you stay dry during rain. In our unique open-air jungle shower you can take a bath both with cool or hot water. The attached semi-open air kitchen is made of high quality natural materials. It is equipped with a stove, fridge, water dispenser and cooking utensils - perfect to make drinks, prepare snacks or cook a simple meal. Tea, coffee and spices are provided. On request, we able to provide 1 more queen bed and 4 extra bed (100x200 each, matrass on the floor). FOOD SERVICE We offer breakfast, prepared by our staff. For breakfast, we focus on local products. There's yellow rice, rice porridge with spicy tempeh sauce, or Yogyakarta traditional snacks. We'll provide you randomly. In walking distance in the nearby village and along the main road, there are several Warung (food stalls) serving local food during day and nighttime. A 2 min walk away, there are 2 small hotels that offer a choice of Western food. MASSAGE We arrange massage for guests by massage therapists from the village. On request, our staff is making an apointment for a massage. During the Pandemic, massage is still possible. We work with a company, which follows the COVID protocol tightly and is testing their staff regularly. PICK UP SERVICE AND OTHER WAYS TO GET TO US For getting to our place, we can offer you a pick-up with a driver from the airport or train station for the following price: (300.000 rp/ pick-up from the new airport Kulon Progo, 125.000 rp/pick-up from the train station). There is also a public transportation service from the Airport Kulon Progo to the City (train staion: Tugu). From there, the driver can pick you up (cost: IDR 125.000). Alternatively you can take a taxi or Grabcar, Gocar (the local transportation apps). We will give you directions how to get to our place. LAUNDRY There is a laundry service based on your needs. Guest access From the front, we have parking area, lobby/bar/reception mix area with lounge of my architect office. There's also communal space with many trees, you can have a work here if you're want to feel different vibes. There's guest bathroom, for guest who's not stay here.. The reception is 24 hours, feel free to ask me on chat for English guide for the villa, the 24 hours guy isn't able to speak English, but I can ask them to help you regarding the villa accommodation if you need to.. Through our extensive family network we can help you to rent a car, a scooter or a bike. Since we are also travelers that always look for beautiful places and authentic experiences, we are happy to give you advice where to find spots off the beaten path in the area around Jogja. Other things to note INTERNET We have wireless Internet. Suitable for people who need to work while they stay in our place. By building “Sare” we wanted to create a place where we can both connect to the area around and enjoy privacy. We decided to not build any fences or walls with the aim to live in harmony with the people and the nature next to us. In case you need privacy, you always have the chance to close the door and rest inside. You may see farmers working on the fields or tending sheep and they may look at you or greet you. In that case, we kindly ask you to just smile and greet back and contribute to the harmonic atmosphere that the people there are used to. Our land is located in the middle of tropical nature. And of course, there are also other creatures living there. We do our best to separate their and our habitat but please consider this fact when making a booking. CHILDREN “Sare” and the rice fields are a perfect natural playground for children – also for ours. However, we do not promote the place as kids friendly. Especially toddlers might not be completely safe due to the nearby stream as well as the ditches in the fields.
